we'll be staying @ bcv in may (studio) and i want to get my room request in order and need some advice. what is the best view, floor etc. or ANY other tips you may want to offer to make our stay . we don't mind walking long distances to elevators etc. just looking for views and atmosphere!!

Try the DVC board. Lots of discussion about BCV views over there!

We requested top floor, Epcot view & were lucky enough to get it. We also faced the road, but it was awesome anyway! A lot of people like to face the (quiet) pool. I don't. The worst kind of noise for me is people noise, which you often hear around a pool.

Shows how different we all are. I faced the road at the BCV's a few weeks ago and hated it. For New Year's next year our request is first floor, quiet pool. It is IMHO a beautiful area that our kids will love.

If when you arrive and you don't get your first choice, consider Ariel's courtyard view - if available. Our view was looking directly towards the BC gift shop. The courtyard is relatively quiet and really a pleasant way to start your morning. If you enjoy people watching, then it's great for that because you see all those coming to and going from the BC gift shop.
