Getting two rooms at the end of august, which building would be the best. All adults, but we are fun loving kids, really!

I just stayed at CSR about two weeks ago with some friends and we all really enjoyed it! Most people here seem to think the Cabanas, particularly Cabana
9b I believe, is the best b/c of its closeness to both the pool and the main building. However, I stayed in Casitas 1 and loved it. I personally prefer the look of the casitas with all its beautiful architecture and fountains to the beachy feel of the Cabanas. Plus, it was about a 2 minute walk from the main building, gift shop, and all the eating areas. However, the walk to the main pool is a bit longer, maybe about 10 minutes, but we never minded.

So it really depends on what you're looking for. If you want a short walk to both the pool and eating areas I would say Cabana 9b, but if you don't mind walking a bit I would say the Casitas, particularly building 1. The rancheros are pretty secluded if you like the southwestern desert feel although some are not too far from the Dig Site.

Good luck and have fun!

Hi Jambo,
We are from Philadelphia also! We are going in Sept. and staying at Conrado Springs for 2 weeks. We are pretty sure we are going to be in Casista's 1(hoping anyway), my daughter is disabled and the special needs office is helping get a room as close to the main building as we can get. Is Casista's 1 right near the Peppermarket? How far of a walk from Casista's 1 to the quiet pool?
Thank-You,

:goodvibes Hi, PammyPoppins!
Yes, Casitas 1 is right next to the Pepper Market. I remember thinking how lucky I was to get Casitas 1 with how close it was to the main building and eating places. Depending on where your room is located its probably anywhere from a 2-3 minute walk I would guess. However, its definitely a longer walk to the quiet pool, which is located right next to Casitas 4. I remember taking a rather compicated route to the quite pool once that was definitely unnecessary. :rotfl: If you just stick to the main path along the lagoon you'll find the casitas quiet pool much easier. I would guess between 5 - 10 minute walk maybe. Walking to the Dig site takes a bit longer, but there is a little shuttle that drives around the lagoon so you could probably ride that if the walk is too far. (If you follow the lagoon past the main building and cabanas you will get there much faster than going in the other direction.) Its such a beautiful resort! If you can I would suggest taking a walk around the lagoon at least once to see all of the different themes of the buildings. I really enjoyed doing that. I think your going to love it! Good luck

Here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building.
