Best Rooms at Pop Century?

Ok - I just booked 4 nights at Pop Century for our end of Aug/beg. Sept. stay. We spend very little time at the resort and basically all the time at the parks. (For instance, last August I had to drag my family out of MK after a 12 hour day!!) We also prefer an area that is most quiet and will trade it for a further walk. Can anyone recommend the best building/sections/room? Please include an explanation for your preference.

Thanks :wave2:

id suggest one of the 80's buildings or 90's buildings. They are away from the main building but its not that far of a walk. Its also not that far from the buses either. Its less than 5 minutes to the food court and buses.

Ditto that. The 80s and 90s buildings are the furthest from the food court and main pool, although not too far (maybe 7 minutes). It's actually the closest buildings to the bus stops though, which would be a good thing after your 12 hour days!

Is there a building that's close to the food court and pool, but also close to the bus stop?

Hi,we stayed at the Pop in January of 2004 when they hadn't even been open for a month. It was awesome,we were on the back corner end of a 70's building, and it was so quiet. There was a jogging trail that went by it,and we overlooked Hourglass Lake.It was perfect!
Be sure to try the cool tye dyed break and cheesecake when you go!

I think the 50's buildings (specificly A) are the ultimate at Pop. The A building is the first one next to the food court/bus stops.

The section that faces the parking lot is the best - you don't have to actually see the parking lot because of all the trees blocking the view (a good thing!) and they also insulate from the sound.

As long as you are not facing "inward" to the pool areas and stay on a high floor noise shouldn't be much of an issue. I love the 50's A building because you are literally closest to the food court and busses than any other building - from my door I could have thrown a coin and landed it on top of Classic Hall.

stayed at the POP in april of 04 and loved it. we stayed during spring vacation week and it was still quiet unlike the allstar resorts that have people everywhere! we stayed in the 80's building facing the sidewalk. very close to the bus station a 5 minute walk to foodcourt and its next to the computer pool which seemed to be the largest area for sunning and swimming. THe 60's area is near the Hippy Dippy Main pool which is awsome but very crowded. The 80's is also near the playground. ENJOY!!
