We are going to book our room at the Beach CLub... WHAT ARE THE BEST ROOMS OR AREAS!!!! WHAT SHOULD WE REQUEST!!!!! Family of 3 1st dinesy trip!!!!!

You didn't mention if you were getting a water view or a standard. Water view is about $70 more a night. We've done the waterview before, but we opted for standard this time. If you book a standard, you COULD get a view of the parking lot or a rooftop. COULD. NOT NECESSARILY. When I make our ressies I always ask them to add a special request for "a room with a patio or full balcony and a view other than a parking lot or rooftop." Then, 3 days prior to arrival I send in a fax requesting the same. I've always gotten my request met 100%.

Water views can be great, but can also make you feel like it's not worth the $70. Reason being that some of them are far back and have pool views, which I suppose constitutes "water view" but we all know we want that "water" to be Crescent Lake don't we? Not a pool. If you're getting water view I would do the same thing - just make a special request.

If you're looking for a specific room number, #3691 (Water View) is very nice. We were upgraded there from a standard view on our one and only visit to the Beach club, and we loved it.

It is a corner room, so it has a small standing balcony at the end of the room, and a second very large balcony that runs the length of the room. The large balcony overlooks the main rear entrance to the resort. Also, since it is a corner room, it has extra square footage, which they've made into a small sitting area.

If you purchase the Unofficial Guide, it will list the best rooms at each resort. I just copied them down and when checking in, I gave the list to the CM and we were lucky to get one of the preferred rooms. It was terrific and we were at the Beach Club. I can't remember the room number but it was a water-view room. Good luck!!
