Great! Did you take the pics from the "balcony" in front of the room? Bldg 7 is not requested much so it is good to know about such a nice view.![]()
disneydreamingdebby - Beautiful!!
Great thread--missing Disney!
BWV - boardwalk view room to the right of the DVC model.![]()

Although it is not wise to request a certain room number, special needs will block a room if I have the number due to some unique special needs. TIA!!!

*Photos taken from our TPV room at the GF. Ground level in Big Pine Key. Hopefully one of these days I'll be lucky enough to get that same room again..it was perfect

I did not realize Big Pine Key rooms could have such a great view- especially the ground floor! Would you mind sharing the room number? I do not request by room number, but it is nice to know at check-in to ask if it might be available.
Glad you such a fabulous stay!! I LOVE the GF!![]()

I didn't either, but it was fabulous! Ground floor meant no waiting for the elevators. We also had the perfect view of the Electrical Water Pageant (the last one was cropped for the Kodak book I made for my nephews).
Our room number was 9141. The GF is by far my favorite resort. Unfortunately because my nephews wanted to stay at the Poly and I'm a sucker for those boys, our next stay I'll be looking at the GF across the water all misty eyed

Oh.my.gosh - these are fabulous pics!! I will save that room number and have it handy at check-in next time! Never thought I'd want 1st floor room! Did you look at the side of Boca Chica too or was this a direct view?
I love both the Poly and GF and am always torn between the two - if I choose GF then I think I'll be missing the Poly every time I see it across the Lagoon, but if I stay at Poly, I feel the same way when looking across at the GF!!
Thanks so much!![]()
Boca Chica was to the left of us, however our view was unobstructed. If I looked all the way to my left I could see other people's balconies across the grass (they were a bit back from ours, so they didn't line up directly across from us) but the building didn't block the view at all! We had a direct view of the castle, main street train station, astro orbiter, space mountain, the geyser over at Wilderness Lodge?, the Contemporary and if we leaned a bit over and looked to our right, the Polynesian too! Btw, they originally had us in a room in Boca Chica and I had them move us as there was a pine tree smack dab in the middle of our view, so you would have to look through the branches to see anything. I know the next time I'm at the GF I will most definitely ask if this room's available for any of the nights I'm there when I'm checking inGrand Floridian, Royal Palm Club, Room 4322
(Note that none of these shots involved extreme turning in any direction. It was an expansive view!)
