here's to a year of exciting new beginnings for you!

Thank you! It has been quite the start to the year for my son and me. I have very mixed feelings about not taking him on the cruise, but he has been on Utopia before and will no doubt be back. I'm looking forward to a grown up vacation with good friends and not having to ride Speedway (one of his faves). 🤣

I'm not a huge studio fan and would ordinarily do the 2BR, but you would need a point transfer to make the larger room happen. I'd try to stay within the points I had.

You won't hate it, but there Will Be Moments. One way to keep those from getting out of hand---make a point of exploring some of the common areas in the Crescent Lake space. There are plenty of quiet (and not-so-quiet!) places to hang out outside the rooms.

Yeah my sister in law and family are Disney first timers so I’m not expecting a lot of time being spent in the rooms. I’m sure it’ll be fine, just want their first time to be as great as possible!

We are staying at Vero Beach for the first time this year. Only a short stay as a trial so fingers crossed it’s everything we hope it will be!
We’re trying Vero Beach two nights in July before a cruise! This past year I figured we’d try all the hotels we could and figure out how we like to vacation.

Are you going during turtle season? (Is that what they call it?)

okay, DVC owners let's chat! You regularly go on Disney property so you've probably bought a Disney coffee mug, shirt, etc. Now that you've been several times to Disney, do you even buy merchandise souvenirs anymore?
We always get the resort mugs because we do a lot of quick service dining at various resorts over a two week stay. We collect pins so we usually buy at least one per person. I also get a Christmas ornament each trip.

It will be the first time for some of our family too, so I'm with you on wanting to making as good as possible! Although I"m low-key nervous about planning a Disney vacation for 10 people. I'll probably need to look up how people visit the parks bc my husband & I frankly kinda lazy when we go there. 😬 We have APs so we just stroll into the park to get a coffee, go on one ride and walk around.
