I will be arriving in 3 weeks!! Would love a room that has a view of MK . We have reservations for courtyard view.
thanks :cool1:

Some of the rooms in the north wing face MK, but you can really only see the castle from afar. Many of those rooms are actually standard rooms that overlook the loading area and there have been lots of mixed reviews regarding this area.

Our room (4022) back in August was over the otter pond and although we couldn't see the castle we had a great view of the fireworks. Although some of it was obstructed by trees it was still awesome. This was a woodsview room.

You can request an area to be in but depending on availability will depend on if you can get it or not. A courtyard view will definitely not have a view of MK as the north wing (which would be closest to MK) has a southern view of the courtyard. But, a courtyard view at the WL is really nice. (I'd be pretty happy with that). Many of those rooms have a nice view of the EWP.

We just got back from WL. We had one of the standard rooms that overlooked the loading dock and had a pretty good view of the fireworks every night. While I really liked the fireworks, the loading dock was busy all day and the compressors for the A/C ran all night so there was no chance for a quiet sit on the balcony. I would gladly pay the extra $$ for a courtyard view and trade the fireworks for the EWP and some peace and quiet. If I were you. I'd get a nice courtyard view room in the north wing and watch the fireworks from the hallway. Unless you're in 5032 you can't really see the castle so it's onle trees to look at during the day. The bay and pool area are beautiful at any time of day.

thanks for the help. I think having a view of the courtyard sounds better.

Had room #5034 in June. Was a woodsview and had THE perfect view of the Castle, monorail, fireworks and above Otter Pond!
Did request thru our TA, but not sure if that helped us out or not...But it was PERFECT!!!
