best roller coaster for firstimers

Which non disney roller coaster would be best for first timers?

I'll go w/ Jaguar @ Knott's. It's fun and doesn't have any heart stopping drops or loops. The only bad thing, is that the lines are always long.

I'll second Jaguar. It's the only roller coaster at Knott's I'll ride.

The Pony Express at Knott's

It's short, not very dramatic, has a fun launch that's just under the 'intense' bar, and you get to ride on a pony--it's awesome!

Everything at Magic Mountain is intense

Jaguar was my first roller coaster when I was little. Since then, I fell in love with rollercoasters. So, i third it

i go with the jaguar also. when i was a little girl that was one of my favorite rides. it's not intense but it's just right for a first timer.

Jaguar is the first one that came to my mind, too. It's a fun ride.

At Magic Mountain I would say the Gold Rush or Ninja. They're both pretty easy coasters.
