Our daughter will be three when we are planning to go, what are the best resturants for a busy little girl, besides alot of character meals we will probally do onlu one, she like Lilo & Stitch so I'm thinking the ohana breakfast.

I was going to suggest an Ohana dinner as they ahve actiities the kids can join in on (Coconut races, hula hoops) which will get her up and moving if she has trouble sitting still. As far as characters, if she is into princesses, there are several princess meals (CRT, PS). Maybe Crystal Palace if she likes Pooh, or CM if she likes Mickey/Donald...

Do you prefer buffets, or sit downs?

Our favorite places to eat with our little guy -

I should maybe note that Paul is a pretty adventerous eater and eats lots of stuff, so we don't have to stick to places where he can get chicken nuggets - so that may be something to keep in mind.

Boma (loud and family friendly and lots of stuff for him to try)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (lots of fun - stick horse races, etc.)
Ohana (all kinds of fun stuff for little ones)
Spoodles (great food, relaxed atmosphere, loud enough that no one can hear him)
Rainforest Cafe (he LOVES eating here!)
Cape May (He loves fried shrimp, so dinner here is great for him! He can eat his weight in those little things!)
Biergarten at Germany (He likes the food and LOVES the entertainment and atmosphere.)
Coral Reef (He's got a real thing for fish, so he likes this one a lot.)
Teppanyaki in Japan (Great chicken, rice, and shrimp for him and he loves the entertainment of the cooks!)
Sci Fi Dine In Theater (Loves eating in the car and watching the movie.)
Marrakesh in Morocco (He LOVES couscous and enjoyed the other food and he thought the band and belly dancer were the best!)

For character meals, our favorites are:
Lunch or dinner at the Garden Grill (much more relaxed than most character meals!)
Breakfast at the Crystal Palace
Breakfast at Cape May
Breakfast at Ohana

Hope that gives you some ideas!

During our last trip, my then 3 yr old and 18 month old boys *loved* the Biergarten. They danced in their seats the entire time - so fun!

Spoodles, Crystal Palace, and Beaches n' Cream were other standouts for my 3 yr old. He loved Le Cellier too, but that had more to do with the nice waitress making a fuss over him and high-fiving him every time she passed by more than anything else :earboy2:

My son (3 when we went last year) loved the Rainforest Cafe.

We did counter service most of the time because we just wanted to get on with it and go on more rides! :)

We did Crystal Palace, Hollywood and Vine, Princess Storybook Breakfast, Rain Forest Cafe, 50's Prime Time, and counter service. Oddly enough, she did much better at the table service! There was more to look at or she could eat right away. We had toys for her to play with and just about every waiter took time to talk to her about who she was laying with. Needless to say, they got a bigger tip for keeping her entertained!

I think you mean playing with. I think I would edit that post. :rotfl:

My DS3.5 loved the Sci Fi and Chef Mickeys (loved watching the monorail go through the building). Coral Reef and Crystal Palace were also good for him.

We have always found the buffets to be great. Quick access to food, fair amt of "stuff" going on w/ chars to maintain interest, etc.

We always do CP for lunch at MK. Nice to have a sit-down meal and break from the day.

Bfast or dinner at Chef Mickey's is good.

Personally we've tried O'hanas bfast 2x now and both times the food was WAYYY sub-par (giving us all the runs once) and char interaction limited compared to the other choices.

Other fav. restaurants included: Mexico by the inside volcano and boat ride...kids were so entranced, and calmed by the serene night scene, it was like a romantic dinner for dh and me!!!

Sci-Fi...stick to burgers and this is good. Mac & cheese split for our 2 kids was plenty. They chilled out watching the movies.

Coral Reef --- loved watching the fish tank. food was good but pricey. Order the luncheon special!!! Again mac & cheese big hit for our kids.

We've been going with our dd since she was 9 months old. She's 4 now. Her faves are:

Chef Mickey's
Liberty Tree Tavern
Crystal Palace
Cindy's Royal Table

These are all character meals.

My girls love..
*Princess breakfast in Norway
*1900 Park Fare..we have only eaten dinner here and i think its one of the best buffets and really good character interaction
*Crystal palace..breakfast or dinner
*Liberty Tree Tavern
*Ohana
Have Fun!!

This was my suggestion too! Our DS has always had a good time at Rainforest!

Another vote for Rainforest Cafe. My dd 2.5 loved loved loved it! 1900 Park Fare is also a fav. On the day that we went, my dd really wanted chicken nuggets, but they only had chicken legs out on the buffet table. Our waitress actually had someone go over to the other restaraunt and came back with a platter of nuggets and fries for dd! We felt so special.

Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys for character meals and Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge.

My kids are now 5 and 4 and like many of the places posted. They also love 50's Prime TIme Cafe in MGM. They love watching the TVs.

My DD loved Sci-Fi, Rainforest Cafe, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, Beaches and Cream and San Angel Inn. She just asked me yesterday if we could eat again at the restaurant with the volcano (San Angel Inn). It must have left an impression on her :)

We went last fall with a 2 1/2 and 6 year old. We found some really great places - some entertained the boys better than the others. Here are our top picks:

Whispering Canyon - Tied for 1st with CM - great atmosphere, lots of noise and entertainment for the kids, pny races and very interactive!!

Chef Mickey's Morning Breakfast - Tied for 1st with above - a great kick in the butt with a 7:30 AM breakfast time to get on that monorail and take advantage of the extra Magic Hour

Rainforrest Cafe - Animal Kingdom - lots of bright colors and fun things to look at! Food is great to! Drinks are wonderful ....

Pizza Planet - a must for any Toy Story fanatic! If the kids have seen the movie they can relate - and the patio dining is great! ((If its not too hot!!))

And for the Adults: Alfredo's in Epcot has great food! We go there everytime we visit the world...
