It's my 40th at the beignning of September and my husband and I are off to Disney.:yay: I have been asked to chose where I want to eat for my birthday - please can anyone tell me where the best steak is served?

Would you be wanting to eat on or off site?

Onsite I've had some fantastic steaks at Le Cellier, Shulas and Jiko.

Hi Flump, and :welcome: TO the Dis!

Do you want a place on Disney property or do you want something off-site?
Off-site, i would recommend Key W Kools on the 192
ON site- Shulas Steak house in the Dolphin
EPCOT- Canada, Le Cellier Steak house

For a very special meal I would highly recommend Victoria and Alberts at the Grand Floridian.

Not cheap by any means but a truly unforgettable experience.

Thanks for your replys. We are staying on Disney property (POR) and as we are not driving we would like to eat on site. Only 5 months to go - I am so excited.

Shulas probably has the best steaks on site but the Yachtsman Steakhouse would be a close second. I had my 40th at the Yachtsmans and we had a fantastic time. I love Le Cellier as well but there are more steak options at the other two.

Onsite, Shulas without question. It's upscale and clubby and, for that reason, not everyone's cup of tea, but it's ideal for such a special occasion.

We would recommend Le Cellier - Canada - EPCOT or for a really special meal as it is a special occassion CONGRATS! Victoria an Alberts at the Grand Floridian - you'll be treated like royalty.
WELCOME by the way :thumbsup2

I absolutely adore V&As - the best restaurant onsite bar none - but, I just wanted to mention that it isn't a steakhouse.

Thanks for all your replys and your welcomes. There have been some really good suggestions made - I think I have quite a bit of research to do!

We have been lucky enough to get free DDP with our holiday so should be able to try nearly all of them. My next task is to work out which restaurants on which nights and then book my ADR's.

This site is fantastic, I have found out so much information, I only wish I'd had access to it for our previous trips.

Thanks for all your help.

I have to say I think I am leaning toward Le Cellier, as we can have dinner and then watch the fireworks.

Its my 40th in October....chief mickeys for breakfast, morning in one of the parks...princess makeover for me a dd8 at BBB then have photos taken with DH and DD13 as a special momento the dinner at CRT followed by spectro parade and wishes .....hoping for a wonderful end to our holiday and a wonderful start to my 40s :-)

Forgot to say will also be celebrating at Coral reef with a diver and 1900 park fare with a cake the day before.
What ever you do have a wonderful time!

Hi Rolshuk, thanks for your reply. Your day is not going to be too different to mine… I am starting my day with Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace for breakfast (I think I am more excited about this than anything else!), we can then spend the day at MK and I have finally decided on dinner that evening at the Yachtman Steakhouse followed by a few drinks along the Boardwalk. Sounds perfect.
