Best restaurant of Epcot!!

Hmm I think I would say out of recent trips the Morrocan restaurant. Italy was ok. I am dying to try Norway again as it has been years.

I did not like the seating in Germany. Otherwise Germany would top my favorites list. The seats themselves were uncomfortable. I am also not a big fan of siting with strangers. The food on the other hand is Yummy.

I couldn't agree more! We love the restaurant (the themeing and the food) but the chairs are uncomfortable and (during our last trip) our family of four sat at a table with two different couples on their honeymoons so everyone was trying to have private quiet conversations. I'm not a fan of chatting it up with strangers while I'm trying to eat.

Le Cellier, hands down! The maple glazed filet with cream cheese potatoes and pretzel bread. And I can't forget the shrimp with wasabi slaw and cream brulee.

Anyone for Coral reef or Garden Grill and whY?

Haven't tried coral reef yet, but we love Garden grill. It is a character meal (but if your not into that thing they pass you by quickly), you are seated and the whole dining area spins around slowly revealing the living with the land attraction. When we were down there in february the food was incredible, Delish flank steak, turkey w/stuffing, fried cat fish the best fresh vegetables (i believe they grow in the land pavillion) ,great mashed potatoes and a bread pudding dessert that is the best i ever had. All is served family style and it is all you can eat. (I kind of made a pig of myself with the steak i am afraid to say, but it was so darn good )

Anyone for Coral reef or Garden Grill and whY?

Coral Reef (since the chef changeover a couple of years ago) is now on my "good" list again! But my personal favorite in Epcot is the Bistro de Paris (far superior to Les Chefs). Call me Goofy (many people do), but I've never understood the fascination with Le Cellier. Yes, it's good.....but nothing spectacular in my opinion. The cheese soup?....hmmmm.....sorry guys, but it reminds me of microwaved Cheez Whiz. (Oh how I know I'll catch it for that comment.....but just being honest!)

Dinner: Le Cellier...cheddar cheese soup & mushroom filet.
Counter Service Lunch: Tangierine Cafe for chicken schwarma.
Table Service Lunch: Chefs de France French Menu.
Dessert/Snack: Kringala Bakery for School Bread & Cinnamon Rolls

Le Cellier absolutely from the cheese soup to the filet w/the garlic demi glace and the creme brulet. Yummy! This is a stop we make every year.

Le Cellier- Vine Ripened tomato stack (although I really liked the new Duck Two Ways appetizer I had there this past May too), filet with mushroom risotto, chocolate whiskey cake.

We also like the feast at Marrakesh.

Close call between Le Cellier and Biergarten! Love both in different ways. I suppose the first is "better", but Biergarten is my comfort food from childhood.

For me its the Teppanyaki - because I always want to eat at places where I know I can't make it at home myself. I will probably never eat at places like Cellier or Rose and Crown, and that cheese soup everyone talks about just sound like a heart attack in a bowl--no thank you. This time around though I am going to try Marrekesh for sure!!

Le Cellier: shrimp cocktail, maple glazed filet with cream cheese mashed potatoes, chocolate whiskey cake. My whole family loves the bread, the pretzel bread is the most popular but my personal favourite is the multigrain. I've never tried the cheddar cheese soup ... maybe next trip ...

Teppanyaki: edamame, Fujiyama combo (steak & shrimp), ginger ice cream or fresh fruit plate. Mmmm!

This English cheese selection was, by far, much better than the cheese selction at Chefs de France. The Red Currant Jelly was so wonderful as an accompaniment to the Sage Darby cheese. This is what sways it for me!

For the sake of fairness, here is the appetizer from Le Cellier:

It was a smoked salmon and marscapone cheese timbale with a wonderful citrus syrup to add a slight tangy bite to the front of the pallete. It was quite delicious, but I loved the RC cheese platter better. My wife had the cheese soup and loved it, but I was not at all thrilled with it.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Bistro de Paris yet. [edited to add - Ooops, I guess I missed the other mention.]

This is a wonderful, quiet place. The food seems to be better than what you get downstairs and the service is great.

I have never been there, and I actually am not sure where it is.........maybe it is where I need to explore next. I am not the biggest fan of Chefs de France, the service has seemed to be the problem when we go there....the food is always good though. Next trip may include Bistro instead of Chefs!!!

Definietly Le Cellier. It is a must do everytime. The cheese soup and pretzel bread is my favorite. DH and DS love the steak.

Now, as far as counter service, we love Liberty Inn and Cantina de San Angel.

It's upstairs from Chef's de France. You get to it from an entrance near the bakery. You should be able to check out the menu at www.allearsnet.com.
