Hi, I'm going to Disney for the first time in October. Ive tried to get an advance booking for dinner at Le Cellier which I heard was good but cant get in. Could anyone recommend the next best place to eat in Epcot?

Have you tried lunch at Le Cellier? Sometimes they will have lunch times open even if dinners are booked. As for the next best....that's purely subjective, but I would say that Teppan Edo is one of the most popular restaurants & I would agree that you always get a great meal there. If you like steak, the filet mignon at Teppan Edo is just as tender & delicious as Le Cellier.

We love Nine Dragons which gets mixed reviews here, but we always find the food fresh & good & the waitstaff excellent. Coral Reef has great atmosphere, and the food is fine just not outstanding IMHO. Haven't eaten at Tutto Italia yet, but the food looks fantastic & gets great reviews here.

We love Chefs de France. & have had good meals at Coral Reef.

The best at Epcot, one of the best in WDW, is Bistro de Paris. It's not on the dining plan and has no children's menu. Excellent food.

If you really want Le Cellier, just keep trying. But that's not my favorite at Epcot. My favorites are Tutto Italia, Les Chefs de France, and Teppan Edo.

Nine Dragons or Les Chefs de France definitely. Biergarten has a pretty cool atmosphere but you have to like German food.

Actually the best overall restaurant at Epcot is Bistro de Paris upstairs in the France pavilion. Be aware that it does not accept DDP and does not have a children's menu.

#1 Le Cellier

#2 Teppan Edo....

Have a Magical VIsit !

PS: You can always always try walk up. You NEVER know what may happen !

Thank you everyone. It looks like Teppan Edo and Les Chefs De France are getting the most votes so far. I have an 8 year old daughter so maybe I should let her decide!! Its our first ever visit to Disney Florida and can't wait to get there.

With an 8 yo, if she doesnt mind some funky food or vegetables, Teppan Edo is definitely the place. The chef's are good (when it comes to hibachi grills) and they'll keep the kids entertained. I know my little brother at 8 wouldnt have minded Teppan Edo, but I was one of those chicken fingers and pizza kids. Either way, the food is excellent and the preparation is awesome.

My personal favorite is the Rose & Crown with a 7:30PM or later dining reservation. When you see the hostess, ask for an outside table. That way you can eat, then enjoy dessert while watching Illuminations. Le Cellier is a no brainer as well, always GREAT food there.

You will get many answers on where to go and it depends on your likes and dislikes. I like leCellier very much, but also enjoy Rose and Crown, Tutto Italia and Chefs de France.

There a 3 I dislike Biegarten, Akershus and Nine Dragons, although others love them.

Lots of times we head over to the Boardwalk to eat, or The Swan and Dolphin have great restaurants too. We eat then return to Epcot.

We do Chefs de France often, recently enjoyed Tutto Italia and no one mentioned MARRAKESH in Morocco. W had excellent food and service. There is live music and a bellydancer and she invites the kids to join her.

DH doesn't do Asian food, so I can't comment on Japan or China restaurants. But do consider Marrakesh, I think it is an overlooked gem.

When will you be going on your trip? Unfortunatly I will be cancling my LeCellier reservations- On Monday October 18th at 4:15pm for 4 people. Let me know if that will work for you.

Biergarten! There's a great variety of food and the entertainment is the best. They even invite kids to come up front for dancing and storytelling.

Oh wow! How can anyone ever answer this question? I don't think there IS an answer. The answer to the question - if there is one - lies in the question of what type of food do you like.

Tutto Italia has awesome Italian.
Biergarten has outstanding German.
Akershus has really tasty food from Norway.
Teppan Edo has an incredible theme and great food.

I just don't think there's a straight answer to this question. Research the restaurants and go from there.

I have my ADRs for December.

Akershus
Biergarten
Chefs de France
Marakesh

I haven't a clue which will be my favorite!

Thank you so much, that would have worked perfectly but have now rebooked an alternative restuarant.
