Best Restaurant in Epcot - Besides Le Cellier?

Bingo!! Its not that I hate it, i just dont care for it at all. I dont get the hype either. Like tinkandpan said, the quality of steak was crap. mine was anyway. The cheese soup was blah! i've had much better soup elsewhere. Pretzel bread was meh. I was not impressed with the ambiance and setup of the place too. Hey, im canadian. Im allowed to critisize this canadian pavilion. Lol. Maybe im spoiled in toronto? Either way, i know i wont be going back to that place. If your curious about it, honestly you should try it. You've got nothing to lose. Everyone has a different opinion. We cant all agree right? ;)

Thats some serious don't care for it feedback! I agree we can't all agree though, and I too get to eat out at some nice steakhouses in the city as I work downtown, but in all honesty i'm not going in expecting to have a peter lugers experience. We are trying it for lunch which is 1 TS so we'll see how it goes.

On a side note, looks like we'll be there at the same time. Lets hope for some good weather! (I also have a DS11). Thanks for the feedback, and yes as a canook you def have the right to critisize your home pavillion. Thats what it is all aboooooot...

I ate at Le Cellier, it was ok. It was really hyped up by a friend of mine and I finally tried it. i hate the filet. It was good, not amazing, and I felt the portion was a little small in terms of the side dish. I don't think I'll go again.

Other options - I like rose and crown, bistro de paris (the best in epcot), and chefs de france is decent.

I am going again to WDW in a few weeks and hopefully will get to try Beirgarten which i've never been to.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great. It was a wonderful meal with excellent service. The food was very good but very expensive for the amount you got. This was our fourth visit to this restaurant.

SHOCKED about people not liking Le Cellier...

One question to all of you who don't like it; have either of you had their Filet Mignon?

I can not BELIEVE anyone could possibly not like that... Best. Meal. EVER!!!! :goodvibes:wizard:

Ok maybe im a bit too dramatic sometimes, but you get my drift. I didnt care for it. Lol! :lmao: I'll try anything once. If i dont like it or didnt care for it, most likely i wont repeat the experience. but hey, thats just me!

Yes lets hope for great weather! Fingers crossed. If you see a crazy lady in the crowds throwing a tantrum, that's probably me. Come say hi. :rotfl: I have never been to disney in August, so this should be interesting. :rotfl2:

We love Coral Reef! Our 5 year old is crazy about animals and getting to watch the tank while we ate was a highlight of our Disney trip! We also enjoyed the food and the service, and they were CRAZY busy while we were there, so we felt they handled the crowd well!!

Tutto Italia gets my vote.

Love the decor and ambiance and I think the food is very good. If it's not too hot we try and grab a table outside.

We love LeCellier. But the post said OTHER than LeCell. We go to LeCell every visit. This time we are doing lunch because of the 2 TS credits for dinner. Although we love LeCellier I personally dont think it is worth 2 credits for dinner. IMO there are better choices if we are gonna spend 2 credits. On the other hand when LeCellier was only 1 TS credit for dinner I thought it was a steal. So I guess something had to give so I think Disney came up with a decent compromise. We still have the option of 1 credit if we want to go to lunch or for the hardcore lovers they can spend the 2 credits for dinner. But I would go with Via Napoli as my 2nd choice. And not for the pizza because that is a whole other debate. There are alot of VN pizza haters which doesnt matter to me because we usually try many of the other dishes.

We enjoy Teppan Edo and San Angel. My kids love going to San Angel and dining in the night time atmosphere in the middle of the day.
