Best Restaurant in Epcot - Besides Le Cellier?

There is no way to consider Le Cellier the best restaurant in Epcot.

Bistro de Paris, upstairs in the France Pavilion, is considered by most people to be the second best restaurant is all of WDW, after V&A. Which would clearly make it the best in Epcot. Of course it is Dinner only and does not take an Dining Plan (but does accept TiW).

I find that Tutto Italia is more authentic Northern Italian food and not Italian-American which I think a lot of folks are used to. I see lots of "negative" reviews from folks in the Northeast which has some fantastic Italian-American food.

Just MHO!

The Rose and Crown is really yummy and has a wonderful atmosphere

I agree 100%!

coral reef!

I personally love Teppan Edo & Biergarten!

This says it all ! It doesn't help you one bit - LOL - but you should get a good idea that whatever you end up doing, you'll probably enjoy it ! :thumbsup2

I also don't think Le Cellier is a great (or even a very good) restaurant. It's just popular.

I couldnt agree with you more!!! I personally dont think Le Cellier is good. My first pick would definitely be Teppan Edo. SO YUMMY!! And quite entertaining too! My son and I both love it!

throwing out a CS option: Yorkshire County Fish shop. LOVE the fish and chips here. Or Rose and Crown if you'd like a pint with that fish.

We ate at Le Chefs de France for lunch on our last trip and we all really enjoyed it. :goodvibes

I know that a lot of people disagree...but we think that Coral Reef is the best restaurant at EPCOT. We've eaten there 4-5 times and never had a bad experience at all.

We don't get to eat at 2TS restaurants..but the steak that I've had there has been better than anywhere else we've eaten on property.

If you like american food, like we do, then in my opinion Epcot does not offer a good option. The quick service junk over at the american pavilion is crap. BUT. A short walk or boat ride out of the international gateway at epcot and you can go to Beaches and Cream at the yacht club. Great Lunch place and especially great if you like a good dessert. You can get in and out over there pretty quick too. Just a suggestion but a step up if your looking for a burger.

Shocked to hear all the hate over le celier. It is our "new" restaurant to try this trip for lunch but now i'm having 2nd thoughts. What about it exactly don't people like?

For me, it's not HATE for the restaurant but just never got the hype. I come from NYC and the steakhouses here serve much better cuts of meat. LC was chewy, the room is very dark and the tables are on top of each other. I know there is a lot of love for pretzel bread and cheese soup but that's not the way i like to eat (prefer healthier options). I just think there are much better options on property.

San Angel
Biergarten
Rose & Crown.
In that order is what we like. We think Le Cellier is good, but overpriced. I've said before you can get a great steak in almost any city in the USA for a lot less.

Bingo!! Its not that I hate it, i just dont care for it at all. I dont get the hype either. Like tinkandpan said, the quality of steak was crap. mine was anyway. The cheese soup was blah! i've had much better soup elsewhere. Pretzel bread was meh. I was not impressed with the ambiance and setup of the place too. Hey, im canadian. Im allowed to critisize this canadian pavilion. Lol. Maybe im spoiled in toronto? Either way, i know i wont be going back to that place. If your curious about it, honestly you should try it. You've got nothing to lose. Everyone has a different opinion. We cant all agree right? ;)
