Best REstaurant for girls only dinner after MGM day?

Just found out friends of ours might join us for a weekend during our stay late August. The guys will be doing their own thing, so us girls (2 moms and 2 dd's ages 2 and 7) will have Saturday and night free to plan something girly. We already have a CRT breakfast PS for another day and I'm not sure I'd be able to change it to Saturday.

What do you think of this plan...
Saturday = MGM
dinner = ?where?
Sunday = Animal Kingdom

This weekend would be kind of a reunion, so I'd like to plan something really nice.

OT, but is Sunday really AWFUL at waterparks?

do you want fun or "grown up" for the girls? for grown up my thought was right there at mgm at hollywood brown derby. also, would you party girls(lol) be willing to go elsewhere for dinner? there are many wonderful restaurants at the resorts. i'd keep the cindy's reservations. another option would be keep cindy's breakfast and book the princess dinner at the grand floridian. for fun, but not very girly, whispering canyon cafe at the wilderness lodge would be a good choice. or, any of the character meals would be fun. hope this helps a little. good luck!

Well, much as the moms would like to be grown-up with two little girls who will be tired by the evening, maybe a character dinner is the way to go. If I can get a PS at this stage Have you had the princess dinner at the grand floridian? We definetly don't have to stay in MGM.

At MGM, the girls would probably like Mama Melroses - simply, yet fun food for everyone.

Head over to the Boardwalk for dinner at either the Flying Fish or Spoodles.

how about a quick bite at MGM and then down to beaches and cream for sundaes/ice cream?

I was going to suggest Spoodles also. After we eat at Spoodles we will walk around the BW and then visit Beaches and Cream for dessert.
