Can anyone help please?

We often travel to Orlando and rent a villa but this year will have a toddler (2 years) with us so we are looking for something a bit different.

Can anyone suggest a good resort, staying in a condo or townhouse, which has a kids pool and playground etc please?

Hi There

Im going to pop this over to the UK Trip Planning board for you, where Im sure the posters over there will be able to help out:goodvibes:thumbsup2

hi, The Art of Animation and All Star Movies both have nice theaming, but both are very large resorts.

My choice would be Port Orleans French Quarter. It is the smallest of all the Disney resorts. It has only 8 buildings the furthest one away is just a few minutes walk away from the reception, shop, bar and food court. There is only one pool with a dragon slide and one bus stop.

There is also a boat ride that will take you to Down Town Disney or Port Orleans Riverside, although the resort is within walking distance if you want a nice stroll along the river, or even a bike ride.

Cal:)

Thanks for your suggestions, I appreciate it.

Really though we are after something off site-I should have clarified that, sorry.

no probs :goodvibes. cant help you there as never stayed off site

cal:)

If you can the beach club was great with a toddler. The pool is amazing for a youngster and the resort is close to so many restaurants near by (so you can make the most of park time)

Lol, OP wants offsite and we only suggest onsite hotels

I'd look at floridays resort or the nickelodeon suites

Winśor Hills, Winśor Palms and Emerald Island are all gated communities within an easy drive to WDW. They have Townhomes and/ or condos. I have stayed at all 3 and if renting this type of property and with a toddler would go for Windsor Hills as the communal pool area is really nice and has zero entry. There are also playgrounds around the community.

I have found places on VRBO and have stayed in both a TH and condo. WH is also the nearest by about 0.5 mile! It took around 10 minutes to get to the AK parking lot from the TH. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within an easy drive.

Paradise Palms and Encantada also looks nice but is a bit further out.

The other option would be to rent a condo at somewhere like the Sheraton Vistana Resort at LBV or International Drive South. Also Wyndham Bonnet Creek where a few people on these boards have stayed.

Hope I have given you a few ideas and please ask if you have any questions on anything I have mentioned :)

We've booked to stay at Wyndham Bonnet Creek with our 2 year old.
