Based upon all of your experiences I have three small kids (5,4,2) and when we've gone to a hotel they get a little scared about the sleeping arrangements.

The 2 y.o. will not sleep in a crib, so I would be looking for probably a king-size bed to fit a couple of us and then a queen maybe sleeper sofa for one kid and one parent.

Anyone know what options I might have and what would be the most economical??? A 2-bedroom suite however nice it would be probably won't fit into our budget.

Thanks in advance for any input received.

We have 3 kids and we usually stay at one of the deluxes. Hubby and I in one bed 2 kids on the other bed and my oldest son on the daybed. It works out great for us. Depending on when you're going, you can probably get a good rate at one of them.

I would suggest a monorail resort. With 3 young kids I'm sure that the MK is where you will spend most of your time. The monorail resorts have 2 queen beds and a daybed. The WL only has 2 queen beds. You could even stay at the Villas at the WL. The one bedroom has a king bed and there is a pull out couch in the living room. You could always rent points from a DVC member for a much cheaper stay. BTW, I have 3 kids and my youngest (1) always sleeps with me. My dh ends up sleeping with the other two. Sometimes my 7 yr old will sleep on the daybed and sometimes my dh will sneak over to the daybed.

Well, we are headed to the BWI with our 3 kids, 1, 3 & 5. We usually opt for a suite or something larger but nothing was available (i should say afforable LOL) on site for our dates. We are doing concierge just for the morning convenience. It's also nice to know that if either my DH or I need a break we have the innkeepers club to go hang out in. I am really stressing over this because the baby likes it very dark and quiet. He's only been away twice and one time we put the crib in the closest. Please don't all the authorities. Anyway, we will be at Disney I guess thats all that matters!!

We stayed in the Contemporary back in Jan. We made ressies for a standard room in a garden wing.....but ended up getting upgraded to the tower with a MK view for the same $!! It was awesome...the room was a perfect size for the 6 of us. Two queens, daybed, and crib. The convenience of the monorail can't be beat. We were up early every morning, had breakfast in the room (we rented a fridge), and were able to come back to the room during the day and let the kids (and Dad!) take a nap and get right back out to the parks.

WL has 1 queen and bunk beds that my kids really like.

DS had a blast sleeping on the top bunk when he was 5!

They might enjoy the bunk beds. I even slept one night in the bottom bunk with DS.

Fort Wilderness Cabins...great family resort w/ seperate sleeping quarters for the kids. Very affordable and includes a kitchen. We stayed there once w/ DD who was almost two at the time, convenient for naps etc. We've since bought DVC but look forward to staying there again. The kids would love the petting zoo and its just a short boat ride away from MK. Good luck, Kim
