Best resort to rent a Surrey bike

We are staying at a Disney resort that doesn't offer surrey bike rentals. So, we plan to hop over to one that does. Do you have recommendations on which resort (that rents the surrey bikes) provides the most scenic route to ride on? Which would you recommend?

I'm pretty sure that The Boardwalk rents Surry bikes. I think you can use them all around the lake, and back again.

OKW rents them also. You can get them at Hanks Rent and Return. I have never done it but I have been told that the terrain is easier then the BW. Can't say for sure though. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yes the Boardwalk has them but there is a hill or two around the lake so it would be difficult to ride them.

We have rented them at the BW, SSR, and WL. By far the one we rented at the WL was the best. We were able to go all the way to FW and it was such a nice, long scenic ride without too many hills like the BW.

Thanks. We are actually staying at Fort Wilderness and ride our regular bikes along the trails between WL and FW quite a bit during our stay. Besides those trails, which other resort would provide a nice ride with a surrey bike?

I thought the trails around POR would be nice? I also read that at Boardwalk you actually ride on the boardwalk around the lake... but is the Boardwalk crowded with people?

POR - because you can go around both resorts; POR and POFQ, then take the water taxi down to DTD and walk around and then take your bus back to your resort.

Makes for a nice evening.

My partner, my mom and I rented a 4-seat surrey bike a few years ago when we were staying at POFQ--we took the boat to POR, rented the bike and had a wonderful time riding around the beautiful grounds.

I don't think you can go wrong with whichever one you choose!

We rented one at POR. The CM took our picture on it for us. We rode it all around both POR and POFQ. It was a nice way to see all of both resorts.

DisGal.....I'm pretty sure they aren't available at Poly, I've never seen them there or even a place there to rent them. You can rent watercraft there at the marina, but no bikes.

We've rented them at the Boardwalk. You can ride around the lake by YC, BC and BW. There were a couple of hills, but I figured I was working off all of those calories from those Mickey Ice Cream Bars

I've seen people at both BW and POR/POFQ riding them. I think the terrain would be easier at Port Orleans that BW, but either one would be fun. I've just never made the time to do that.

I agree with what others have said: the WL to FW path is GREAT! My wife and I rented a two-seat surrey and rode from WL to FW. We saw all kinds of wildlife and really enjoyed the shade.

When we got to FW we visited the petting zoo and horse stables. It was one of our favorite moments from that trip.

They were at the Poly back in '07 - we did rent them there. There's not much of an area to ride them though - just through the resort & a bit down the path towards GF, but there's a sign about 1/2 way that you can't go past that point w/ them. If I remember correctly, it was due to the wedding pavilion being right there. It sounds like the other hotels might be a better option. At the Poly, you get them at the marina where the boat rentals are - they're parked right there.

Allears.net has pictures of surreys lined up at the Poly marina. I'm guessing that's pretty good proof.
