Best Resort Pool for 7 year old

Hi All - I have stayed at quite a few DVC resorts - but usually we are running around to the parks - but we are planning a weekend trip to relax (ha) buy the pool and hang out at the resort. Last weekend we stayed at SSR and were in the Paddock area - my 7 year old loved that new slide - any input on which pool is best for a child his age??

BCV and Stormalong Bay! My kids are 4 and 6 and LOVE LOVE LOVE that pool and slide down the ship's mast! Only downside is it's large and can be easy to lose your kids if you're not with them. And you technically have to leave the pool area to get to the slide entrance (across the walkway). My husband stayed at the bottom of the slide to catch them (they're not swimming fully on their own yet) and I went down the slide with him. Tons of fun!

Kidani has a great pool and play area. Not quite the same as SAB but still pretty fun. What about trying one of the water parks?

If you are looking for something a little smaller so it's easier to keep track of your child then I vote for the AKV - Kidani pool. It has a great water slide, large water play area (perfect for kids that age) and a decent amount of shade with a nearby pool bar for the adults.

I think SAB is the best pool on site, our DD loves the sand bottom and the slide is amazing.

If you are concerned about the size of SAB you should consider the Luna Park pool at the Boardwalk. It's much easier to keep track of your kids because you can pretty much see the slide from most of the chairs. They also have a really fun pool party every day. We won lots of beads last time we were there!

Kidanis pool has a large spray park for kids, a water slide pool bar and svanah viewing area.

Our family loves the Beach club (SAB). We are going in a few weeks to relax and can not wait.

some kids like the sandcastle with Mickey's face at Okw.

the BLT has 2 slides both of which are popular with the kids - it is also zero entry. but the pool is tiny.

would recommend BLT for being able to walk to MK - but the pool no.
