I would like to know which resort gift shops are worth visiting. I have a staycation at the Riviera soon and their gift shop is so small. I’ll be using Disney transportation and am open to hopping to any area of WDW. Thanks!
I like the Wildreness Lodge, it’s probably the largest one. We stumbled upon the two at the Contemporary and liked those. Honestly, if you are doing a hotel only stay, visit them all!
Our credit report would give you an obvious choice -Zawadi at AKL-Jambo House! It's amazing, and has cost us a lot of vacation dollars over the years! It's really a unique and beautifully themed store with lots of interesting choices.....
I like all the monorail resorts when it comes to gift shops. They are larger and there is usually more than one per resort. It’s easy to do, since all the hotels have direct transportation to MK, where you can just hop on the monorail and go.
BVG at the Contemporary is one of the best imho. They have a case of snacks/treasts similiar to Main Street confectionary and they also have e a good selection of the latest merchandise that’s usually found in MK.
Last time I ate at Bluezoo I stopped at the gift shop in the lobby of the swan. I had never gone in before I was surprised how many things I saw there I didn’t see anywhere else. When I was last there they had magic bands and limited editions pins I didn’t see elsewhere. They had a great selection of Disney board games. My DH bought a really nice Tommy Bahama Disney shirt we didn’t see anywhere else. (He went back for it at the end of the trip).

go down the road half a mile to Disney Springs also .
Vote for a Resort area crawl.
Skyway : BBWALK, beach club, SWAN, DOLPHIN
Monorail: Poly, grand, contemporary, wild lodge
DSPRING: Port Orleans, OKW, french quarter
BVG (Buena Vista Gifts) is the main shop on the 4th floor. There is also a smaller shop across the concourse that is the one that carries the frozen foods etc that appeal to the DVC members.
The AK shop is very nice, although I haven’t visited recently. We also enjoy the shops at WL and CR. I also liked to check out the shops in the GF, but haven’t been there in quite a while. I agree that as much as we enjoy the Riviera, the shop is nothing to write home about.

I think it’s Bayview Gifts (BVG). The smaller one with food and sundries is , I believe, Fantasia Market and the one in the middle shaped like Mickey (sells plush, kids toys and pins) is Fantasia.

Visiting the Resorts and shops in them is our very favorite thing to do at Disney. Our favorite shops are Bou-Tiki at Polynesian and BVG and Fantasia at Contemporary. Fulton's General Store at Riverside is also a great one and quite large.
Poly and GF have my fave resort shopping, Boutiki is really cool bc they carry Olu Mel merch that you normally can't find outside of Aulani. I always pick up a box of Hawaiian Cookie Co treats for my coworkers too. The GF has some fun unique shopping too like Basin White.
