Best resort for teens?

Perd, we have just bought into the BCV and you can only have 4 guests + one child under 3 in a one bedroom. That is true for all of the one bedroom villas at any DVC resort. As for the location of the villas, they are located in the front of the BC or northeast side. You cannot see Crescent Lake, SAB, or the Boardwalk from the BCV. However, they will be connected to the BC with a covered walkway and they will have their own quiet pool.

Our very favorite resort is the BC!! Which is why we bought into the BCV. We have two kids, now 20 & 17, who have been going to WDW since 1989. Their favorite area (and ours too) is the Boardwalk area. You can walk into MGM which is their favorite resort now with RnR Coaster and ToT and also into Epcot. There is also so much to see along the BW especially at night.

I think it is fine to let your kids go off by themselves at least two together. We have done that in the past but they also have cell phones. My DD (17) and I just got back last night from CBR and she stayed at CBR pool, food court, and even for a run around the resort while I attended a conference during the day at the Hilton in DD. She felt secure and so did I.

My first choice would be BC or YC as the daybeds do not have arms on them and are about 5' long. The BW would be my next choice but I have been told the daybeds are shorter there and they have arms on each end so it might be harder for a teen or adult to sleep on them. We are staying at BWI in May so I'll find out then.

Any resort in that area would be a great choice! Have fun!

When our girls were about your kids ages we made our first stay at the BC and they just loved it. We had 2 queens and a murphy bed (we had 5) and a balcony and just juggled the shower schedule. When we went back last Easter we had a real problem getting a balcony that wasn't standing room. When you have 3 teens in the room with you, it helps if there is extra area where you can spread out. That's why I would stay at the YC where you are guaranteed a balcony.
We just stayed this year at the Dolphin and that was great too. Nice place for the teens too. While I'm thinking about giving the Poly another try, this area is great to be at with kids your age. With the BW right there, they can walk over and around to either hotel.
Have fun planning
