Just wanted to get some opinions. When we travel in August of 2007, we will have 3 adults, 1 child and 2 infants. Here are my thoughts:

Polynesian - 2 rooms: I love this resort (though I've never stayed there) and since we spend more time at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, this would be perfect with the monorail. This way, there's no folding of a double stroller and it's so easy to get back to the hotel.

Boardwalk 2 bedrrom Villa: This is my MIL's idea. I actually think it's a good idea, given that we'll need to so so much laundry and the villas have machines right in the rooms to do this. Plus, with the kitchen, we'll have an easy time with formula. It's within walking distance of Epcot and we can take the boat to MGM, so there's no stroller folding for those 2 parks.

The price either way is almost the same. It's really just a question of which convenience is more valuable to us: Monorail or Laundry and Kitchennette?

What do you think?

With 2 infants, I would do a 2 BR @ BWV. We stayed in a 2 br there last month and loved it. We had a boardwalk view and could see fireworks from both Epcot & MK. Having a washer/dryer and kitchen with 3 children would ba a plus.

I'd choose laundry and kitchen. ::yes:: I think as awesome as it is (I imagine) to stay on the Monorail, I'd rather have the laundry and kitchen. We had our first DVC stay last December, and oh my, it was pure heaven having that kitchen and laundry in the room!! I think with little ones it makes ALL the difference in the world. It's like a smaller version of home and it was FABULOUS.

Good luck deciding! :)

It might depend on how long you are staying. We stayed at the CR last Jan. for 10 nights. We did laundry once in the middle of our stay. I personally would not give up the monorail if at all possible at least until my children are much older. Doing laundry would be an inconvenience only a couple of times while folding up strollers, sometimes when a baby is sleeping, could happen a few times a day. That is just my prefrence though. You will have a wonderful time whichever you choose!

While I love the Polynesian, I think you'll be happier at BWV. Have you considered a 2BR at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge? It's close to the MK.

I would definetly stay at the Poly, simply since it's on the Monorail.

That way, if one adult wants to take the twins back to the room for a rest/nap, etc, they can. I think it'd be almost impossible for just one adult to get the babies, double stroller, plus any gear back to the villa by themselves. Even with a few adults with, the buses (in my opinion) would still be a pain. Two babies to carry, plus the double stroller, and possibly two infant seats if you have the double Snap-n-go stroller (which looks like it'd be great by the way--I wish I had one when my twins were infants!). Not to mention the 6 year old to keep track of and the diaper bag/s. So, for me, the Poly would win hands down!
