So I originally booked a one bedroom villa at boardwalk because having the king bed wasn’t an issue since our baby would be sleeping in her pack n play. But we are now transitioning her to a full size bed since she’s outgrowing the pack n play and I’m not sure if we should change our room? What are the other sleeping options in the one bedroom? Is it just the couch? She’ll be 2 at the time of our trip. Would it be easier to switch to a normal room with two queens? Hotels are slim pickings in December so not sure if we should make the change? Others have toddlers making that change in bed and do two queens instead?

When our son was that age, we found that the suites at AOA were perfect. The Pullman bed was not intimidating for him and he loved the theming.

If you don't want to be in a separate room than your daughter, then I would book a room with 2 beds in the same room. If you are specifically looking for the kitchen and other villa amenities, then just leave it be. That's my opinion.

If you can get a DVC studio at BW it will have the pull down bed under the TV as does the Poly. I believe there are others bu,t can’t recall. I know CC does not have it. The pull down bed at the Poly has a nicer them. My son loved the Poly and the pull down bunk bed on the cruise line as well as the ceiling lite up. I would not have minded sleeping there. I know under the TV sounds weird but it actually isn’t.

if you can switch to the studio at BW, I would. I do not think I would want to stay in a 1br with the toddler in the living room. the bed would be comfortable enough but I wouldn't want to sleep in a separate bedroom.

Studio at the Poly, no question. The pull down bed is perfect and with a toddler, being able to take either the resort monorail to MK or the TTC one is so clutch - no stroller folding required!

The pull down beds at the poly are so freaking cute. Even my 6YO loved it so it would be perfect for a toddler!

My daughter recommends the Beach Club pull-down because the artwork represents the beach and has Donald Duck. It would be perfect for a toddler.

I think any room with two beds would do unless you want a suite so you can close the door for naps and early bedtimes. You can either ask Disney for inflatable bed rails or bring your own. They just slide under the bottom sheet.

We stayed in a 1BR at BWV in November. We used a couch cushion and the extra pillow/linens to make a small bed for our daughter in the walk-in closet off the bathroom. She loved having her "own room" and we loved having her tucked away but still close enough to notice if she tried to "escape".

The king beds are pretty spacious. We had our 17 month old sleep with us in the bed with us and our 3 year old slept with my parents on the Murphy bed in the 2BR studio.
