We were in WDW for Christmas this past year (December 19 thru December 27). We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and after being there for Christmas, we would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. It was beautiful and very Christmas-y.
In 2002 we went to WL around Christmas time. It was beautiful, my mom still talks about how beautiful it was and how she loved the roaring fire and rocking chairs. My vote is definitely for WL.
My favorite is definitely the Boardwalk. It is decorated so pretty for Christmas and it is so nice to walk along the boardwalk at night and look at all of the lights on the water. They also have a huge tree up in the courtyard area. We have been three times in December! I highly recommend it! Have fun!
We've gone Christmas week the last couple of years. I love touring the resorts that time of year! I could spend a whole day just doing that. My husband and sons however think it's nice to see but only as we are walking by on our way to dinner at a resort restaurant. My favorites are the WL and the GF by far. The Beach Club and the Boardwalk are the next closest choices. My youngest son loves the train display at the Yacht Club too.
The WL just feels Christmasy and the GF has that WOW factor with the life size gingerbread house and all.
