Does anyone have any experience with low-sugar options at DLR? I have to watch my sugar intake closely now. I remember seeing something like low-sugar fudge there, or maybe it was wishful thinking?

Even a few bites of anything too sweet these days and I immediately start to feel awful.

Maybe I should stick with fruit....?

The sugar free Butter Pecan ice cream at The Gibson Girl ice cream shop is very good!

They have a sugar free dark chocolate with almonds at Marcelines (DTD) that is really good! I got it because it was dark chocolate-you would never know it was sugar free-so yummy! :cloud9:

Thanks so much!!! Exactly what I was hoping to find. I'll definitely check those out.

Pooh's Corner and the Candy Shop on Main St. have sugar free chocolate. This is what we buy:
Sugar Free-
chocolate covered pretzels
chocolate covered pecan squares
chocolate covered caramel squares
chocolate candy bars
chocolate covered caramel candy bars.
mmmmmmmmmmm
They are sweet but not sugar sweet. and it definitely fixes the sweet tooth.
I did however break my sugarfree diet and have a Dole whip float.
With in an hour, I was sick. So, I am sure they put sugar in that. Now, why would they put sugar in a Dole whip float?
I would think the pineapple juice would be sweet enough.
next time, Ill just opt for a pineapple spear.

ACtually the standard serving has only 80 calories and about 20% of its weight is from sugar. It has only 5 calories of fat.

A typical serving of frozen yogurt from TCBY is 200+ calories.

80 calories for a no sugar added serving of ice cream.
It has 20 carbs but does have protein.

Dryers no sugar has 80 calories a serving also and 14 carbs but has 2.5 grams of fat.

So for a quick sweet snack you can eat half a dole whip for only 40 calories.

Very good info Laurie, and pp's too. Laurie, you have it down to a fine science, the nutritional information. :)

Just wanted to update:

I got a sugar-free pecan caramel chocolate & a sugar-free chocolate pretzel from Pooh's corner bakery (I don't know name) and they were super yummy.
