Best Rate you've ever seen?

As a former CM who can still get the cast member discount on hotels, what is the best rate you've seen? Like how much percent off was it that made it the best rate? Just curious

We were supposed to travel Dec 1 - Dec 8 2001 and stay at Contemporary Tower . . .but due to ongoing construction to my home, we had to cancel.

My rate for that time was $189/night incl tax for the Tower. That was with an AP . . .I wanna say it was close to 40% off. Hmmmmmmmm wouldn't it be nice to see that rate again?

last June we booked the Poly concierge LV for $205+tax a night. with an Airline employee discount.
That was nice, this yr not too bad 244. for Poly Concierge GV. Liked last yrs price better though. Almost 50% off last yr. about 45% this yr i think

We had an AP rate of $234/nt for a 1BDRM at BWV, but got bumped, so we were able to get a 1BDRM at OKW/nt for $175 instead (loved that!!!). I have also stayed at the FWC for $89/nt after we had a not so good stay - the manager was wonderful, and gave us the great rate on our following trip.

It was at the Grand Floridian in January 2002 - $99.00 a nite. It was an upsell.

Got the Yacht Club Waterview For Christmas 12/22-12/27 @$189... I'm pretty sure rack rate was $430... this was a special treat

Last August I got WL for 134.00 plus tax! I also saw 49.00 for value resorts last year and I thought that was a great deal. You can't beat SharonZ's GF rate though!

We had ressies at the all stars during the millennium dreamers celebration and the front desk wanted to move us to make room for the kids. since we had 50% off the rate, they wanted to give us another 50% off of that rate to move. We declined because we were changing resorts mid stay and didn't want to move 3 times. The room would have been around $24 a night.

Unclekyle ... as a travel agent, I was/am lucky enough to get same discount as CM's this yr! Not sure why they are still available, but I just changed resorts recently for our May visit so now we stay at ASMu and AKL concierge! We can't wait!!!!

How funny! I was going to mention seeing that someone on the DIS had gotten the GF for $99! Also, I saw that someone had gotten the Poly for $99.Those would be the best I've seen.

The best I've seen recently would be a FL Res rate of 118.00 at WL.

Best rates I've GOTTEN recently would be:

Nov 2001- Courtyard in DD for $25. Our TOTAL BILL for 3 nights
was $83.25

Jan 2002- ASMo- $49 Fl Res rate

May 2002- CBR- $84 Fl Res rate

I would say that I couldn't have done better!

15 days till CBR!!!!!!!!!

Last August I got the YC/BC (one night in each) for $150/nite for a convention.

In Nov. (after 9/11) we had Grosvenor Tower Room (through DU) for $39/nite.

That's what I call a bargain!

When I first started planning my trip last summer I was offered AKL savannah for 139 a night and I didn't take it!! I could kick myself for that one. But I did get Contemp. for 139 and All STARS
for 49. I feel very fortunate to have been able to get those rates.
