We are thinking of staying at the DS Hoilday Inn
Good prices
Close to DS (walking in 15 minutes or less)
We would bus to Early Morning extra magic hour
We bus back to the Holiday Inn or DS in the late afternoon.
Maybe go to DS in the evening
We are seniors (in our 60's), very mobile, and our adult DS &/or DD may come with us (get their own rooms)

Now to decide on best quiet room (we will request no connecting door- unless our adult DS &/or DD come with us)

Fireworks? most expensive
Views of the Walt Disney World® Resort and nighttime fireworks spectaculars can be observed on select floors of the 14 story northwest facing tower

DS view ? moderate price
Rooms are located in the top floors of the 14 story tower each with Disney Springs® area views. Feel the magic and excitement of the Walt Disney World® Resort with breathtaking panoramic views of the resort area.

Pool view ? Least expensive
One of our most popular rooms, overlooking the beautiful landscaped pool area.

Standard view of the road, parking lot, dumpster ? cheapest price
Has a balcony with a view of nothing great

Please recommend a room and why
Thank You

I wouldn't book the Fireworks view just to see fireworks. The Disney Springs Hotels are a long way from the theme parks in terms of line-of-sight. Here's that the fireworks look like from the nearby Hilton Buena Vista Palace:

However, the Fireworks view rooms are pretty much guaranteed to be on a high floor, which means a little possibility of hearing any noise from the ground level.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Disney Springs four times. I've always booked a standard room because I'm not the sort of person to spend any time looking out a hotel window. As long as I have natural light, I'm good. And a balcony sounds appealing, but here in Florida they have limited utility 9 or 10 months out of the year. It's simply too hot and humid to enjoy sitting outside.

While I've only booked standard rooms, I've gotten "upgraded" to a pool view and a Disney Springs view on two stays. They were equally quiet when compared to the standard rooms. I'd also say the balcony rooms are equally quiet as the non-balcony rooms.

I work nights, so even when I'm on vacation I stay up very late and sleep until about noonish. As such, I always request what you will: no connecting door, quiet room. I've always gotten that type of room at the Holiday Inn Disney Springs when booking the standard room.

I hope some of that information is helpful.
