Ok so I have all my table reservations taken care of but not the lunches. What is everyones favorite quick service restaurants at each theme park? I'll be there for 7 days so I have to pick 7. I think I have 5 picked so far.

Sunshine Seasons
Lotus Blossom Cafe
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
Fairfax Fare(is this part of the dining plan for QS?)

What do you all recommend? Any feedback is appreciated!!

We like Columbia Harbor House, Sunshine Seasons, and the CS in Norway (great looking sandwiches) - plus Earl of Sandwich if you're hitting downtown Disney.

We like Sunshine Seasons and Backlot Express (if we have to pick at DS, none are great!).

MK - Columbia Harbor House - the Lighthouse sandwich - yum! :cloud9:
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons
DHS - Starring Rolls (but we usually eat at Prime Time here for lunch)
AK - Flame Tree
DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich

@ MK my favorites are
- Cosmic Rays
- Pinocchio Village Haus

...no real other favorites yet.

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbour House. I agree with one of the previous posters. The lighthouse sandwich is delicious.
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, especially for the bakery section. This place has the best counter service desserts.
Disney's Hollywood Studios: None. Avoid eating counter service in this park. All the choices are bad. But to answer your question, yes, Fairfax Fare participates in the dining plan.
Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue

Also, Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney deserves special consideration. It is probably the best counter service restaurant anywhere on property, and it's a fabulous value on the dining plan.

Hope this helps!

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: Earl of Sandwich.

You took the words right out of my mouth, especially about the disappoint food choices at DHS. However, Fairfax Fare has a new menu which looks a lot like the Flame Tree BBQ menu so I am crossing my fingers.

I would add Kringla Bakeri at Epcot and Pecos Bills at MK.

If you will be at AK, Flame Tree is excellent! It's our favorite CS in all of WDW, and the seating by the lake is quiet and very scenic!!

MK: El Pirata (don't miss the fixins bar!)
DHS: Can't name one - we always go to Pizza Planet for the kids, but I can't recommend it for the food.
EPCOT: Too many good choices in WS! Depends on what you like.

MK: Columbia Harbour House - love the fried shrimp plate. For a burger we go to either Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bills. Both have toppings bars which make the typical burger a bit more interesting. ;)
Epcot: Sunshine Season for the variety (I love the roasted beet salad or salami/ham grinder) or Tangerine Cafe in Morocco (the lamb/chicken schwarma platter is my favorite CS meal in the World.)
AK: Flame Tree is our favorite but I also like Pizzafari ...not for their pizza but for the Hot Italian Sandwich. :confused3
DHS: We don't love anything here. We schedule a TS for either Sci-Fi or 50's.
DTD: WPE or Earl of Sandwich. We love them both.

:)

Which parks or areas will you be in on the days you need to fill in? I see you already have 2 in MK, 2 in Epcot, and 1 in HS. Will you be spending a day in AK, another in HS? Do you want one at a resort? DTD? A little more info would be helpful.

We like Wolfgang Puck's Express at DTD, Captain Cook's or Roaring Fork at the MK resorts, and Flame Tree BBQ at AK. Also, I hear the mods and values have great foodcourts with lots of choices. I don't know how busy they are at lunchtime.

Also, this is just my opinion, but if I only picked 2 in MK, I would definitely choose Columbia Harbour House as one, and then pick either Pecos Bills or Cosmic Rays as the other. Both Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bills have similar types of food with the fixin's bar, Rays probably has a wider variety of choices. CHH just has a very different feel and menu to your typical CS place. Again, JMO.

I bolded the ones that would've been on my list.

Judging by recent menu changes, I'm interested in trying Fairfax Fare too.

In AK, hubby and I love Flame Tree BBQ - though the kids prefer Pizzafari... so we just get their pizza and bring it to Flame Tree. :) (I can't see adults getting excited over Pizzafari... not particularly special pizza there...)

Our all-time favorite CS restaurant, however, is not in the parks - it's Sassagoula Floatworks - the food court at POFQ. I love the ribs with mac n' cheese that's on their dinner menu, hubby loves the jambalaya and beignets, and there are plenty more options for everyone else (kids included) - plus since it's a small resort, this food court is much less crowded than other ones. Even when we're not staying at POFQ, we have to take at least one trip over there to get dinner! One trip, we stayed off-site but went to POFQ all three nights we were down there!

Happy planning! Have a great trip!

Cosmic Rays at MK
Sunshine Seasons at EP
Wolfgang Puck at DD
Food Court at POP and POR (Riverside)

MK - Casey's - love the hot dog fix it station
Epcot - England for fish & chips or Moracco
DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express & Earl of Sandwich

MK -- Columbia Harbour House (my favorite in all of WDW!!!) or Cosmic Ray's (2nd fav :goodvibes)

EPCOT -- Electric Umbrella

DHS -- Backlot Express

AK -- Yak & Yeti (absolutely delicious!!!)

DTD -- Earl of Sandwich

Pinochio's Village Haus is our favorite;)
This time we are going to try Starring Rolls in DHS...I have seen some very good reviews here of their sandwiches. DH is also looking forward to trying Columbia Harbour House in MK and Counter Service in England in Epcot...He loves, loves, loves fish and chips.:thumbsup2

rather than stand in line for an hour for a quick service meal in the parks, when we go at a time of year (like summer) when the parks are open longer and it's 95+ degrees outside we often head back to our resort for a quick service type meal and either chill in the room or hit the pool. the food places at the resorts are less crowded than the parks at that time of day.
