What are some of the best excursions to book by yourself on Grand Cayman? I saw a recent post on Acquarius Sea Tours, and the reviews look good.

Do you prefer a different tour? We are looking to snorkel and I wouldn't mind any other sightseeing added onto that.

Just bumping the thread up to see if anyone has any suggestions.

Having been to GC a number of times, and also being a person who does normally book private tours... GC is a place i book DCL tours and not private basically due to the short time there and the tendering.

The tendering using smaller boats to take you to the land when the ship stops in the sea and not at a dock adds 30 mins each end.

DCL tours get off quickly and you have maximum time there, its small and so the DCL tours manage when they get where to try to avoid overcrowding.

We're pretty simple with excursions. We got off the tender from our ship (a Royal ship) and found a Duck tour company. It's not the one that does the cruise excursions, but another one. We like Duck tours and we liked that one!

Our plan had been to disembark EARLY and then go back to a beach once we had an overview of the island, but we slept in and that just didn't work. So we ate at Margaritaville, shopped in the shops nearby then took the tour and that's it.

We booke Nativeway last November. It was amazing! We did a private tour since there was 16 of us ages 70+ to 4 years old. We did the Stingray, Snorkel, Starfish tour. One of the hi lights of the trip!

Very good tip, thanks!

Thanks for the all the comments so far! I am now checking out Nativeway as well.

We used Stingray Sailing. There were only two other families on a large catamaran. We went to see the rays and then they took us to another spot for snorkeling.

I have an excursion booked with NativeWay Watersports in July. I've heard lots of good things about them! :)
We are also booked with Nativeway in July, for the Rays, Reef and Rum Point tour. We're on the July 11-18 Fantasy cruise. Looks like a great excursion!

That's the one we booked, but our cruise is later in July. :)

We rode jetskis out to Stingray City and then over to Rum Point Beach. We booked it through Island Marketing. It was so much fun and very exciting to jet ski about 4 miles from the beach to the sting rays. Reasonably priced too, I thought. We plan to do it again next time.
