We thought the food at 1900 Park Fare was far superior to the Akershus breakfast, as was the character interaction. We did DD's 5th birthday dinner at Park Fare and it was very nice. The food was decent for a buffet, we weren't rushed at all, and all the characters came around several times. We also got a special order cake from the GF bakery, which was delicious and worth every penny!

I'm in the same boat - 2 TS's for Castle? No thanks.

Maybe I need to check out the Breakfast at the Askershus, but I looked at the menu AND pics for ?lunch or dinner..can't remember?, and I just don't think we can enjoy the food there.

We have chosen Park Fare over Norway. The main disadvantage I can find is there are more princesses at Norway.....

I've done 1900 Park Fare before and loved it  and we are doing it again this trip for dinner. We are trying the Norway breakfast for the first time just because I want to see all the princesses in one place. princess: Fingers crossed for Ariel and Belle!!!

We did both on our first trip.

Akershus had all the princesses and the breakfast was really very good!

1900 had Cinderella,Prince,Suzy,Perla and Fairy Godmother but the food was pretty bad. We had dinner there and out of 7 people noone was satisfied with the food choices or condition (meat was dry, rolls were hard as a rock, salads were soggy, sauce was way to spicy)

Can you remember how much the cake was from GF? Thanks

It depends if you want good food or see the princesses. While 1900 has one of the best dinner bufets, in my opinion, Akershus has the princess and the food is ok. Truly, the expression on my niece's face when she saw Ariel in a gown two years ago was PRICELESS, we did not tell her Ariel might be there because Ariel is her favorite and we didn't want her to be disappointed. It was one of those one in a lifetime Disney moments. We are going back to Akershus this year as we did the Castle last year.

We spent our anniversary at 1900 Park last year and thought it was great, the best buffet/character dinner we had by far. Our cake was beautiful with a white choc. castle on top it was $25 for a 6" custom cake, white cake w/ bavarian creme and fresh raspberries. We are trying Akershus this trip with the hopes of seeing Jasmine and the fact that 1900 Park will be being renovated while we are there and it will be plated instead of buffet, but we will definitely go back again.

UPDATE

We couldn't decide so... we are doing dinner @ 1900 Park Ave. and the next morning do breakfast @ Princess Storybook. Our Princess is so excited!

We're doing Norway for the first time on our upcoming trip, but it'll be tough for it to top 1900 Park Fare. The food there was impressive for a buffet, and the character interaction was *wonderful*. All the characters came around several times and were very friendly. DD developed such a crush on Prince Charming, and he came to the table 3 or 4 times over the course of the evening. It was soooooo cute watching my then 4 year old princess try to wink and blow kisses to him!

This is the only one of the pics I took that night that I have online. DD with Cinderella - http://pictures.aol.com/galleries/c...3d59C4X4T9dJ*rRuhvlYA2Tud5v4xQp5Fd3Ig=/large/
