help me out fellow disers, I have a friend who on a whim is going to MK one day next week. Where is the best place/pricing for a one day ticket, do you think maybe CAA? It is too late for Undercover tourist )delivery being the issue. Just wondering if CAA has changed the pricing because of the dropping dollar OR MAYBE NOT YET? My thought is maybe it is cheaper to buy here than pay the exchange-or somewhere else that may have set pricing-ANY IDEAS? thanks

Can't answer for absolute sure-ness but i would believe that CAA would still sell the tickets for the same price since they already have the inventory. ??:confused3

For a single day only, may be best to buy at the park. UT doesn't sell anything less than 3 day. Don't know about CAA. Disney sells one day tickets direct, but they charge about $25 for shipping, and it may not make it here in time.

ETA - if you are near a Disney store, they used to sell the tickets at face value in Canada (dollars at par). That was a good deal, but all the Disney stores have disappeared from Eastern Ontario.

If its just one day, get it at the park, no real discount with anyone. FYI CAA charges the US$ price of the ticket, not the CA$.

You can shop online using ebates.com or ebates.ca and get cash back.

Today Orbitz is offering double cash back so if you shop through ebates.ca you will get 7.5% cash back; you are charged in CDN. The tickets are sold under 'activities' on their website. They email you a voucher and you just take it to guest services once you get to the parks to turn it in for your ticket.

Thanks for all the suggestions/feedback!
I will just pass it all along to the person going-
I knew I could count on you guys...

That's good to know!! Thanks for the info, stashing it in the section of my brain labeled "DISNEY" you know, the one that is constantly in motion :rotfl2:

Disney stores up here have stopped selling park tickets, I tried to get some back in September and was told they had stopped selling them for about a year at that point.

That is incorrect.
Undercover Tourist does sell single day & two day admission tickets to the WDW parks but as is indicated on the UT website, they are more expensive than purchasing them from Disney.

Well you are correct, and I am surprised. May be because of experiences like mine. Last time I ordered (4 years ago), I got some of our tickets from UT but had to get the 2-day tickets for our DSIL and her kids direct from Disney because I couldn't get them from UT at all. I would have preferred the free shipping and getting my order all together. Good on them for putting them on the site for those who really want them - I'm filing that away in my Disney brain bin too!
