M_I_C_K_E_Y (Amy) just made me some great designs for our --sirts that we plan to wear to DWorld. I priced the t-shirts at costco for $9.99. I need to order 8. Is there a better price out there for t-shirts?
It's easy! The best tip I read on these boards is to buy dark transfer paper, even if your shirts are light/white. Just follow the instructions on the package, and they'll turn out great!
Maybe someone can answer this for me re: t-shirt transfers:
If our design has some white (i.e. the castle in the background where some portions are white or the white dots on minnie's dress) will those show through as the t-shirt color if printed at costco or walmart? I know that if I print it at home there will be no "white" ink to print in those spots so if I use a colored t-shirt (we were thinking red) then you would see red through it. I was hoping by printing elsewhere we could solve that issue. Does anyone know?
Joann's and Michael's both sell the Jerzees brand. It is a great t-shirt with a nice weight and they wash very well. I have used them for all my applique shirts. You can usually find them on sale for $2 - $2.50, regular price they are $3.99. They sell from Youth S (6-8) up to XXL for adults.
