My youngest daughter will be turning 7 in January so we have decided to save up to go between New Year's and school starting back on Jan 8th. The stay looks like it will be less than $2K for a room on site and hopper passes for 5 days (room only is less than $500). The problems is I don't have the money to put down on it if I book now. Can I get the tickets when we get there for the same price I get them online now? We might be able to swing the room better to put money down at the start of September. I know we can save the rest of the money for the trip before we leave in January.
We are planning to arrive at our Disney hotel on Jan 2 due to room rates, but was hoping to stay 1/1 off site if we can get a better rate than Disney's nearly double room price for that one night.
I need ideas on how much it will cost to feed us while there (I haven't been in over 15 years
We have no credit cards and do not intend to open one to pay for the trip. Our motto is if we can't afford it we can't do it.
Also, does Disney make you prove birthday/anniversary dates? The little one's birthday is not until Jan 14th and the other one isn't long after followed by our 20 year anniversary so we hoped to do both of their celebrations and ours while there (we celebrated our 5th there way back).
I apologize for so many questions. Disney w/o kids was so much less expensive than with. Any help or insights are greatly appreciated.
