Best portable chargers?

I'm thinking I need to be carrying some extra battery chargers with me for our phones next month. I bought some last year but they barely held a charge so were pretty useless. Does anyone have any recommendation for portable battery chargers to use in the parks?

If you have an Android phone, most of them have replaceable batteries. Much easier to just pop in a new battery than to worry about chargers, cables, etc.
