Saragota Springs main pool is AWESOME for toddlers! It is a real highlight for our little guy. We've stayed many places, but we think this is the best pool for the 2-5 age group, without a doubt!
They have a wonderful squirting fountain play area that my little boy could happily spend all day every day in. The ground is soft and padded and they can jump, skip, splash, and run till their hearts content!
There is a zero entry area, which is the absolute best for little people! They can wade in, sit and splash on the shallow slope, etc. It's great!
They also have (in addition to their regular water slide) a very short little slide that is PERFECT for toddlers! My two and a half year old LOVED this in December. It was just right for him to climb up the little steps and go down by himself. (Of course, I caught him at the bottom!) I bet your almost 3 year old would really, really love it. It's just the right size for that age.
Anyway, we love this resort - even though we aren't
DVC members - and it often gets overlooked here. We think it's great!!
P.S. They have the most awesome playground there too! Just about the nicest we've seen anywhere on property. Plus, if you get a one or two bedroom, having a full kitchen and washer/dryer is HEAVEN with a toddler - not too mention with a baby along as well!
