Best pool.

They emerge in the spring and fall (usually May and September), although this can vary by a few weeks earlier or later. The total "season" lasts 3-5 weeks.

The AKL pool (at Jambo) is really nice, and IMO one of the more relaxing pools to spend time at while at WDW. There's a nice pool bar right there, and many lounge chairs all around it, lush foliage, and 2 jacuzzis. :thumbsup2

Agreed that AKL pool rocks too!! It's beautiful. Good slide. (Not quite as good as CSRs slide.) Bar right there, etc. Plus you can walk a few steps away and view the animals !! Very cool!

The AKL pool doesn't seem have the same amount of open space around it (pool side) for tanning etc as the CSR pool has, which is what these ladies are looking for. Especially with all the shade around the AKL pool. I am sure at high noon, its pretty great, but earlier in the day or in the afternoon half the area will be shaded. Where as the CSR pool doesn't get shade, even later into the afternoon, and the east side of the pool has a whole bunch more lounge chairs that get the sun from noon on ...

Its a beauty pool for sure (although I still don't think as nice as CSR).

Old Key West in a studio. The pool is nice, there's a sauna inside the lighthouse, and the Gurgling Suitcase is the best pool bar anywhere on Disney property. There's a snack area right next door to the bar for nachos, sandwiches, etc. and a drink refill station if you get refillable mugs. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there's a boat to DTD for evening fun.

OKW seems to have less kids running around the pool too. Some of the other resorts that have been mentioned have a lot of little ones. I haven't stayed at CSR but that seems to be another good choice for adults.

Discounts are usually always available at OKW for 30% off, so the price is pretty good. If you're willing to rent points, you could probably get a week for under $1,000 there.

Think CRS is it. I'm going to AKL in sept with the kiddos so this time it's all about me! :)
