Best Pool of the 3 resorts?

RPR -- no slide but a kid's splash zone instead
HRH -- large slide
PBH -- large slide in one pool, no slides in other two pools

But iirc...as a hotel guest at any of the US onsite hotel you have priveleges to use ALL of the pools.

We tried out all the pools on our visit in June & I honestly don't know if I could pick one over the other. They all are different & have something unique to offer. My kids (DS's 14 & 11) couldn't really pick a favorite either ~ & I thought for sure they would be very opinionated on this topic.

DH & I really liked the pick up pool volleyball games that they had at RPR & DS 11 really liked the kid games they had every hour & the splash zone with the water canons.

The water slides at both HRH & PBH were great, but did require a bit of hike to get to the top (not a problem for the kids).

HRH pool has underwater speakers, so that's quite cool .

At RPR & HRH they had ping pong tables & shuffle board in the pool area & we really enjoyed that too. Didn't see those at RPH, but I could have just missed it.

No matter which resort you decide to stay at, if you have time, definitely try & check out the pools at the other resorts. We really enjoyed doing that.

Just returned from the Hardrock. I would have to pick the Hardrock pool. They had a DJ at the pool two of the nights we stayed. There is alot of energy and fun. The PBH pool is beautiful but quieter. I like the Royal Pacific, large but no slide or DJ. The RPR does have a volleyball net.

For me it's the Portofino. If the big pool is crowded, you can go to the villa pool and relax.

Actually, RPR does have a DJ on Fri & Sat from late afternoon until the torch lighting ceremony ~ forgot to mention that in my original post.

we think the RP pool is really pretty. so is the portofino pool. we like the slide at hard rock best, but in the afternoon, if you want to relax and read, the piped in music is pretty loud.

It's really a matter of taste and what you are looking for in a pool. All 3 US resorts are deluxe. The pools are all awsome. You can stay at 1 & play at all.:thumbsup2

they all are nice and everyone finds something special about each of them.

i prefer the RPH and PBH the best.

HRH pool is straight out from the exit door on the 1st floor.
what i don't care for that is the wet floor in that lobby that happens when kids come in without drying off.

use your hotel key and pool hop.
it would be a fun day to do that.
