Please help! Myself, DH, DS (13) & friend and DD (17) and friend are staying in a 2 BR @ BeachClub Villas in June. Of course, Sunday thru Thursday, checking out Friday. We are driving a long, long way and I want to stay two extra nights...problem is I will not use my points (75) for my weekend nights at beach club but I want to have an equally great time as if we would there! The resort and pool and surroundings are very important to me. Was considering the Swan or Dolphin or possibly the Gaylord Palms????? I can get 5 of us in a room and have a kid sleep in grandmas room, so I really just need a resort with the experience.......would like to be close to Disney, but doesn't have to be in Disney. Think we are going to enjoy the down time and pool time w/ the kids. Wouldn't mind some extra room if that was possible, but not the most important either. Please help, thanks so much.

We also are staying BCV in June - same thing Sun thru Thursday. I wanted to add two days before our stay at BCV's so I just found a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo at Windsor Palms for $195 total (all taxes and cleaning fees included) for Friday and Saturday night.

nothing will come close to the SALB.

that say Dolphin and Swan have a very nice pool. and are really, really close to the BCV.

if you have a car then also might consider Gaylord or Hyatt Grand Cypress - it has an excellent pool.

The Grotto pool at the S/D is probably the second best pool on property.

Gaylord Palms is a great resort but the pool isn't close to SAB or the Grotto pool.

I'm sorry, but what does SALB stand for? I'm horrible w/ the short little codes of everything.

Swan/Dolphin would get my vote just because it's in close proximity to where you will already be staying. They have a great pool, easy access and great location to Epcot and Disney Studios as well as Boardwalk. There are also tons of restaurants, a Starbucks and a nice spa.

Swan allows 5 in a room. Dolphin's limit is 4. Swan will supply a roll-a-way bed for a nominal fee. The rooms are a good size (compared to Disney size). Transportation is easy - by boat to Epcot and Disney Studios and bus to MK/AK.

HTH!

we stayed a couple nights at Ginn Reunion. They have a waterpark onsite (lovely and great for the kids) and multiple pools elsewhere on the property.

I would agree with the above post - by far the best pools facilities in the whole of Orlando .........with the Omni at Championsgate (villa or suite) a very close second !!!!:cloud9:

If you are looking for something a bit cheaper, you could also consider Regal Palms.

The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has a very nice pool.

One of the best apparently, one of the major factors in choosing there, planning to have a little after wedding get together in the pool lol :goodvibes
