Hi all- do you have any suggestions on the best places to walk? One thing that has helped me so much in my journey through anxiety (at home) is walking in local parks. They're not crowded, they're in nature, and they really help me get out that adrenaline that builds up. Any suggestions as to where to walk at WDW? We will have a car, and we're staying at the BWV. I was thinking....

*Around the Boardwalk loop, going up to the Swalphin and down to the back of Epcot
*Trails around Fort Wilderness
*That dead-end pathway that goes from the MK toward the GF

Are there any other good walking paths around that would be pretty and not very crowded?

You could walk from Dhs to Epcot that a nice walk plus not always busy from Dhs to board walk. So it should be peace full then you have the poly to grand walk way well you can get off at ttc and walk through poly to the grand.

Across the bridge from Pop to Aoa.
Around the lake at CB.
SSR path along the water.

i was also thinking of the path behind saratogo springs. we stayed there a few years ago and our balcony looked over the lake to dtd. i loved it. there is a sidewalk all along and it wraps around the end of the lake and you can get to dtd. i don't know about you, but i love looking at the water, especially looking at all the lights of dtd at night. there is even a pool back there, you could dip your toes in!

Due to the construction at DTD you can't use the path to get to DTD. But you can go the other way and use the foot bridge.

I would recommend googling "jogging paths WDW" or something similar. Each resort has an official Disney-recommended path for jogging which is basically a wider than average mile or so long path through the resort.

I would then check it out on Google Earth to see if you like the area.

The Boardwalk and EPCOT hotel area gets crowded for walking during most of the day. The path to HS can get crowded, but it is great for some nature watching...mostly wading birds.

There are a coupe of nature paths that go from the WL to FW. One hugs the shore and the other is more inland. These are used for segway and horse tours too so beware.

The loop around Hourglass Lake is very nice. AoA and POP are very open and provide lots to look at. Lots of ducks.

CBR has a nice inner loop around the lake.

SS is rather hot and boring IMO.

GF to Poly is short, but nice for what it is. You will also get to look at the GFV construction and there are several benchmarks right on the edge of the sidewalk.

POFQ I read is known for their gardens. POR I read has a historic tree that was transplanted to an island in the lake.

MK to CR is short and sometimes crowded, but offers a neat look at the monorail.

I can't think of any more relaxing paths off the top of my head at the moment.
