I am trying to avoid the full service places only because of the crowd I have to feed 3-Adults and 6-Kids (ages- 13,12,10,6,4,2) Keeping in mind that the younger ones don't sit for very long. Any suggestions you have for MGM or MK are welcome also. Thanks for your help;)

I know u said u are trying to avoid full service but really Finnegans in USO would be great they have a good kids menu and great atmosphere its directly opp the mummy attraction u could have kids at one table adults at next table they give the kids coloring crayons etc well worth a visit esp at happy hour and with all them kids u will need happy hour, also u have cafe la bamba at USO which do great chicken wraps :jester:

During our last trip at IOF/USO we stopped off at Circus McGurkus Cafe in the Seuss Landing area. There were seven of us with three of them teens. It's walk up style. Much like the food courts at the Disney properties. Had some variety to it. Even kid's meals.
It was a good stop, and a chance to sit for awhile. Good amount of seating too. Not 5 star but good enough.

WALT DISNEY WORLD (POR) - October 2000
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS (HRH) - June 2003
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS (RPR) - June 2004 (not soon enough)

BURGER DIGS AT IOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rockband: YEAH!!!!!!!!! ::yes::

Can you tell that I like it? :)

anditoo72:

Burger Digs is in the Jurassic Park area.

The Circus Mcgurkus Cafe is in Seuss Landing

On the Universal Studio site they list some "dining" on the first screen. There is a "more food" tab at the bottom. That will open up the full listing of places.

Hope this helps !

Wow!!!...all them kids.........have a picnic, bottle of bubbly........then make some more.......... :rotfl: Seriously..Finnegans is a good place - lots of homemade type of stuff if they are sick of the burger/nuggets/chips thing....do a great bangers&mash, Irish Stew toooo

We really enjoyed The Enchanted Oak Tavern in IOA. The place has nice theming and the portions are huge so it's easy to share.

Try www.orlandorocks.com
There you will find all eateries in IOA and Universals under the Universals heading. Once you hit Universals, scroll down on the left!

I had a gyro at the Fire Eater's Grill a few years ago and it was great. Seating is pretty bad, but you can find a nice bench or rock to sit on.

Hi Mr. Webmaster....what's a gyro? Was it something you did with your hips? (The only other gyro I know is a rotating device used to keep navigation instruments steady......well unless you were at Seaworld it can't be that one!)
