I've never seen it and want to on make next trip. Thanks in advance for any info on this. I don't know anything about it. :teeth:

IMHO, the best views are in front of the Castle. It can also be quite crowded though.

You can see all the effects from the front of the Castle.

It's not quite the same elsewhere in the park or at one of the monorail resorts, IMHO.

There are good spots to be had -- and sometimes even an empty chair -- on the porch of the Magic Kingdom train station about an hour or so before SpectroMagic. Stake out a spot and you will be rewarded with an excellent view. Not only that: you can be one of the first out of the park, and quickly board a bus or monrail to head back to your resort.

When we did that this past week, we left the MK at 10:15, and were walking up the sidewalk at the Board Walk Inn, toward the lobby, at 10:45.

I think if we'd been closer to the hub, surrounded by the mob, it would have been midnight before we got home.

I'm a little confused, are Spectro Magic Parade (I've seen) and Wishes combined or the same thing now? What time do these events start? I'll be there November 29th - December 6th. Thanks for the help!!

Not combined. One is the parade and the other is fireworks. Wishes comes about a half an hour after the Spectro parade.

They are both great and we try and do both once each trip. In December Spectro will probably only be Saturdays and Mondays. Wishes is just about every day at closing except on the nights of the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party..those nights Wishes will be at 9:15p

liltoot,
They are seperate events, but usually occur pretty close to each other, SpectroMagic second run is around an hour prior to park close and Wishes closes the park. Yes many enjoy being on top by the train station, which an excellent view. If you would like to see what this view is like, check out this video: http://www.wdwinfo.com/Photos/Wishes2/index.htm#hm-lft-photo-wishes choose either Windows Media Player or Real Player and enjoy, unless you would rather watch is live first. I watch this video when ever I need a fix. I prefer to be at the other end of mainstreet , the fireworks are designed to be viewed from Mainstreet and here they seem to be right over the castle, I was in front of Crystal Palace once and I loved it like always, but it just didn't line up right. Going this time of year, the crowds are not bad, and if you hang around a bit there is a the kiss at the castle, I have not seen/heard this one yet myself, but it happens about a half hour after wishes and happens right at the castle, but I have not been able to get much of description of exaclty what happens. Especially for your first viewing, try and line up with Mainstreet and the Castle. If you attend the MVMCP, there are a few added fireworks for Wishes. Kind of neat. Enjoy

So is the train station porch also a good spot to view Spectromagic? Really excited for seeing Spectro, haven't seen it since 1994! :earseek:

SpectroMagic actually begins near the train station, coming out where the daytime parade ends. You get a great view.

I may be thinking of a different fire works, but I thought Tinker Belle started the show. Is this the case or is this an old show?

THANK YOU, pic22, for that link to the video. I never knew that it was available to watch online like that. I watched it and cried like always. It is definitely the next best thing to being there!

I personally like to stand on the bridge between Main Street and Tomorrowland to watch Wishes. That way, if Tinkerbelle flies that night, she will fly right over my head.

The best place to watch wishes is from the fireworks cruise. Right out in the 7 seas lagoon. No crowds, no lining up hours ahead of time, no one stealing your spot you waited hours for, just peace.
