What resort should I book for Wine & Dine Half Marathon using DVC points?

I found OKW to be really convenient to both the start and finish lines. Very easy transportation.

Your home resort. Even for a 1BR you will struggle to switch at 7 months.

Renting, you needed to have your request in 2 months ago.

EPCOT-area resorts would be the best choices. But good luck booking one for 2020. Race weekends are among the most popular DVC reservations. Combine that with F&W and you’ve pretty much missed the opportunity for this year.

Guess I need to amend that. Oddly enough, it looks like one of my waitlists recently succeeded (without notification, of course). At this rate, I'm on track to land a room for Wine & Dine at my home resort. But this is with a lot of stalking and daily attention.

Epcot isn't open at the International Gateway before the park actually opens. You have to get to the start by bus from every resort. Since the races end outside the park, you need park admission to walk through the park to get to the Epcot DVC resorts or the Skyliner.
