Best place to sell American Girl dolls?

Trying to avoid listing on ebay but I will if that is the best place. Has anyone had any luck selling somewhere else?

I would try Craig's List first.

I would do Ebay before Craigslist. You will probably get more for them that way. I tried to buy a Samantha and saw one on Craigslist, went to see it (45 min drive) and it was a Target doll!!!!!!

I've been trying to sell a couple of AG dolls on CL for a couple of months with no luck. I'm going to list on Ebay this week.

I would try Ebay. I got an AG doll from there a couple of years ago. You never know who will be knocking at your door when using Craigs List.

My sister sold one on Craiglist. "you never know who will be knocking at your door when using Craigs List", sis and I have been selling on CL for years with no problems, would never give a stranger our address we always meet in a public place - Target, the Mall,etc and we don't go alone.

Thanks. I'll check into FB groups. I'm hesitant to sell on CL but I may try that route and meet at Target. I just hate ebay and all of their fees and paypal fees and "sellers can't leave negative feedback" rules.

Here in Milwaukee, Craigslist has a bad reputation. I stay off that site at all costs. We always hear about assaults, prostitution, and other criminal activity with tht site.

I sold an AG doll after Christmas, and I was unhappy that it cost me $18 in Ebay fees just for selling. I don't think I would sell on there again.

I have bought AG dolls off of Craigslist as well as several off eBay. With CL you wont have to deal with paypal fees or shipping.

Depending on what you are selling though you may get a lot more money on eBay even with fees.

Or you could just sell to me

If you google AGFMB you get a good site. There might be membership requirements to sell though. Have sold a ton through there in years past.

I don't have Kristen. I have a couple of retired dolls and some accessories. I know we aren't supposed to sell anything on here so don't want to get in trouble. Just honestly haven't bought or sold any AG in years so I didn't know what the latest "hot" venues were for selling. I want to get the most out of them.

I'll check out AG Playthings. I have heard of them but have never used them. DH is hesitant for me to list on CL but that would be so much easier than trying to ship.

I sell on my local FB Yardsale page. What I like about it is that sometimes we'll have a mutual friend, which makes it a bit less scary. Still meet in a public spot. I sold an AG doll - unfortunately for less than I could have, mostly because I didn't do my research beforehand, so I priced it too low.
