best place to rent a car?

curious as to the best place to rent a car from MCO is. I am heading down in a few weeks, but not to wdw...going to visit some friends who live in the area. we've only rented a car once while down there and that was years ago and I seem to remember taking the longest shuttle to the rental agency. are there any right at the airport?

Avis is in the terminal lobby, along with a few others that I cannot remember. We use Avis all the time.
