Best place to meet Belle other than Norway?

MY DD 5 loves Belle (last year it was Ariel lol) and has decided that she would like to dress as Belle this year in MK. We have a BBB reservation at 3:00 p.m. and DD said that she wants to meet Belle after her appt so Belle will see her all dressed up :) We did a breakfast ADR at Akershus last year and while it was ok we aren't interested in doing it again this trip. I know there's ETWB, I'm just wondering how long of a wait we're looking at in the late afternoon hours? I can always send DH and DS off to do something else while the girls meet Belle. Any other suggestions or ideas would be appreciated :)

Unless I'm mistaken, the only place to meet her at MK is at Belle's Enchanted Tales.

She meets at France in Epcot, but in her "provincial" blue dress, not her yellow gown.

You're probably looking at a 45-60 minute wait for ETwB that time of day. Your only other option for meeting Belle outside of Akershus is at Epcot in France. However, she will be meeting in her "little town" outfit and will not be wearing her yellow ballgown.

Thanks :) I'm ok with waiting especially since she's SO excited for it. I'll send DH and DS off to explore and we can spend some quality Mother Daughter time meeting with her favorite Princess. It's nice that she still loves the princesses-I'm enjoying it while I can.

Note that the only way to guarantee a photo with Belle is for her to take a role in the play. If she's dressed as Belle I'd be willing to bet the CM will offer her a part early on, but if not they always ask at the end if anyone who doesn't already have a part would like one.

Also, Belle does not sign autographs at ETwB. However, you do get a neat souvenir bookmark :goodvibes

Also be aware that at ETWB, they rush the children though in a quick line for the photo op after the "play". Unless you are sitting right about where they are standing to take the pictures, you will not be able to get over and take pictures with your own camera. You will have to rely on photopass and just hope the pictures turn out okay. At ETWB, Belle also does not sign autographs, and they rush the line through quick- basically snap and done- so your daughter won't really have time to talk to Belle at ETWB either. We've done it a couple of times and gotten cute pictures, but I've heard of them pushing the line through so fast at times, that the pictures aren't so great. It is really a shame that there is nowhere in MK to have a regular meet and greet with Belle, or anywhere for a child to actually be able to talk to her more than just saying "Hi".

Akershus is really your best bet for a picture with Belle in her yellow dress. She can also get an autograph there. Belle in her blue dress in Epcot is the best place to actually be able to talk to Belle a little, because the photographers in Akershus can sometimes rush people through. We have been there at a normal pace, but our last trip the photographer rushed DD so fast and snapped the shot before Belle was even ready, to the point that Belle got irritated and made a snarky comment to him.

Thank you all for the information-I'm not sure that DD will want to be a part of the show as she can be shy sometimes in larger crowds. She really just wanted her picture taken with Belle so it sounds like we may be able to do that.:lovestruc

In 2011 we saw Belle at CRT. Is that no longer a possibility?

This yr we did ETWB and saw her at epcot. Two things...at ETWB they asked if any other princes or princesses who were not in the show would like a picture. At epcot we caught belle coming out of dressing room and dd9 and dd3 got to walk with her to her m&g.

Just a thought, akershus does lunch and dinner too with characters. Perhaps a different meal would be better?

I've heard this as well. We finally got a CRT reservation for a trip later this year, and we were hoping Belle would be there. Anyone know?

I was just there this week and did ETWB at around 5:45 or 6 PM and had very little wait (20 minutes posted, actual wait was more like 10). I was surprised but then realized that 6 PM is prime dinner our for families with young kids. So, families weren't likely to get into the ETWB line at that time, or likely to be on that side of the park unless they happened to have a BoG reservation since there are no QS choices over there other than Gaston's Tower. So, I would do your ADR at BBB, eat an early dinner, then hit ETWB after dinner.

If you don't think she'll participate in the show and you a picture w/ Belle in her yellow dress, then I'd have someone else in your party volunteer to be in the show. It has been 6 mos. since we were last there and did ETwB, but at that time, the only way you got a picture w/ Belle was for you or a member of your party to be in the show. Once Belle was done taking pictures with all the people participating in the show, she was whisked away. When we went, a couple of parents played a part in the show with their smaller children, so that might be an option for you if it is just you and your DD that go.

Belle no longer in the rotation at CRT. ETwB is the only place in MK you can meet her.

We saw her in France. I thought she looked better in her blue country dress. Alsogot a treat shot too background aas the lake with planet earth.

Currently Belle doesn't appear at CRT. She was replaced by Jasmine with Enchanted Tales with Belle opened. The usual Princesses that appear now Snow White, Aurora/Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Jasmine, with Cinderella greeting in the lobby.

We saw her at Epcot in October 2011. She was wearing her yellow ballgown, not her blue dress, *and* she was posing in Futureworld. Maybe we were just lucky:

Never mind my "2008" t-shirt. I still had it in 2011. Still have it as a matter of fact. :lovestruc

This wasn't true when I went. My daughter did not have a "part," but we waited in the queue when it was picture time and she got a picture.

I did not find this to be the case. It was not rushed; each child had time to pose with Belle and get a photo from both the PP photographer and a family member. It is true that you won't get an autograph, though.

You got lucky. This isn't a usual character meeting space. We have seen Belle and Peter Pan here in the past but they are never on any official guide, they just appear there an random :)

The problem with this attraction is that different CM's run it in different ways. There have been reports that only children who participated in the show will get a photo, reports that anyone who wanted a photo could get one, reports that only children were allowed to participate in the play (and adults were actually discouraged in participating) The only way to "guarantee" you can meet Belle here is to participate in the play.

Can you meet Belle Town Square? I know it's a rotation of princess but can't remember if she's in that rotation.
