Best place to get AP and DDE

We are going Friday and are going to buy our AP's and DDE card once we get there. We are staying at Boardwalk but have a car....so my question is where is the best place (ie most likely to have shortest line) to get them??? The place at Epcot is always soooo slow!

I just always buy them at the first park we go too. We usually hit the parks first thing in the am and I've never encountered a long line at MK or DHS. This year I bought them at the IG and there was no line as I approached and that was late afternoon. But I made the mistake of going to the the ticket window not GS. Bought my APs there and went to the other booth for DDE. You want the one on the left if you go to IG.

Lots of DVCers seem to prefer DTD but then the clock starts ticking on the AP that day/night. And getting to DTD takes far longer than any line I've seen at park GS.

We've always had good luck at the Guest Relations outside of Hollywood Studios. It's off to the side, behind the ticket booths, so it's less crowded. We bought our DDE there last trip.

so lets say you go to the parks on june 15 , 08 the last day you can use your ap would be on june 14th , 09?? sorry i am trying to figure this out for my trip for this year and next years trip to see how much this would work for me

Good through 6/15/09. You receive a bonus day of sorts. And 6/15 would be your anniversary date if you choose to renew.
