I can't believe nobody has answered your question! I guess maybe its better onthe dinning thread(?) Anyway, we will be there for food & wine fest and plan to drink our way around the world!
OK. . . I'll reply. One of my favorite spots to have a drink (& my DH's too) is in the WS at Mexico. The first time my DH and I went to WDW together, our oldest son was just 1. We had been pushing him around all day in his stroller, and he fell asleep just as we reached Mexico. We sat down and had margaritas while our son slept peacefully. When we went back last year, we again took a break in Mexico and had margaritas (our son is now 11. . . no stroller! ).
Best place to get a mudslide is Port Orleans Riverside. I park myself at the pool bar and I'm home. Great drink especially for nondrinkers like me. The next best drink is an Expresso Chiller. It is awesome if you like coffee flavor. Heck, it's awesome if you don't like coffee. Very refreshing. I think all the resort bars are featuring this drink now. We originally had it at AKL and at Hurricane Hannah's by the YC/BC. They don't get me tlipsy, but they keep me awfully darn happy.
Yea, we are non drinkers too. (THAT WAS A BALL FACED LIE!!!) The Rose and Crown pub at Epcot. Or any Disney Resort bar that is close by, should bill the fill.
I second the frozen margaritas at the Mexico pavilion in Epcot.
There's also some margarita/mixed drink stands at DTD that are very good as well. Get a table, peoplewatch, and enjoy sipping your drink sitting by the waterfront.
