Best place to eat?

Or could we leave to eat at City Walk & then return to the park or at one of the hotels. Would this take too much time?

Hi fellow New Englander,

At IOA we loved Confisco's in POE, Thundering Falls Terrace(JP) and Mythos (LC, upscale food, not normal park fare). Enchanted Oak Tavern (LC) cool interior,food pretty good.

It will take longer to eat in Citywalk or at the hotels. It depends on how pressed for time you are in the parks. If reservations are accepted at the places you want to eat , that'll save some time.

How much time are you spending at the parks?

You can certainly leave either the Studios or IOA and eat at City Walk.Hard Rock Cafe is great as well as Margaritaville.Just remember to have your hand stamped for easy retry into the parks.Mythos and The Enchanted Oak Tavern are two of my favorites at the IOA. At the Studios,it's definitely Finnergan's.It looks like quite a few of us "New Englander's are heading SOUTH!

I live in Northeast PA and can't believe that I have to go south to warm up in JUNE! How's Green Eggs & Ham Rest.? My son is dying to eat there. (He'll be 4 and my oldest is 9). Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. We will only be at IOA one day so from the info you have given me, I think we will stay inside the park. Both of you mentioned Mythos & Enchanted Oak Tavern, so will probably try one of these.

Hi ceb29, It is cold here too. Am looking forward to leaving the cold North. Maybe someone will know about the Green Eggs & Ham restaurant.

I wish we have more time to explore City Walk but can only cram so much in.

I will never complain about the Florida heat again after experiencing cold weather in Ohio for the past five days. It was 90 when I stepped on the plane in Tampa. I stepped off in 60 degree weather!

Anyway, the Green Eggs and Ham Cafe is OK. I found my Green Eggs and Hamwich Sandwich too mushy. It must have been under a heat lamp too long. The best burgers in the park are in the Burger Digs. Walk a little further and have a better meal.

Best place to eat without a doubt is the Pretzel Cart outside the Lucy Tribute. Only $2.95 for the pretzel and only $3.75 for the Poland Spring water to quench your thirst. What a great deal.
