Looking for the best place to eat w/ Mickey and gang at any of the patks (or resorts). We were really unhappy with Chef Mickey at dinner last year, but we might be willing to give breakfast a try. Just want to eat with the mouse at least once this trip!

Thanks!

Mickey is at Donald's Breakfast at AK, but I think CM's breakfast beats it. Let's see, I think Mickey might be at the Garden Grill in Epcot. But honestly, I don't think I can recall any other meals with the big cheese. Liberty Tree Tavern has Minnie but not Mickey. 'Ohana breakfast MIGHT have Mickey??? I have never been there so I really don't want to say either way. Mickey's Backtard BBQ is available certain months of the year. A friend of mine has been and she and her kids LOVED it!

Hope you get some more responses!

Definitely Garden Grill. A much nicer atmosphere and lovely dinner served family style. If you want breakfast, I would also recommend O'hana breakfast.

A second here for Garden Grill...you get a much more relaxed meal, and character interaction...we got to see Mickey and other characters twice the last time we had lunch there. CM's is good, but with sooo many tables, it is much more hurried.

We enjoyed the Garden Grill. The dining seems to be more private, and the character interaction is very good. The food is delicious, and you are served family style.

We had breakfast with Mickey at Cape May Cafe at BC when we stayed there. It was good and a nice start to going to Epcot for the day.

I'd say Garden Grill too. I enjoyed lunch there a lot and Mickey's all dressed up in his Farmer's outfit. C hip, Dale, and Pluto are there as wellAside from that one and Chef Mickey's, I know he also appears regularly at Donald's Breakfasaurus at AK (with Donald, Goofy and Pluto) and 'Ohanna's at the Polynessian (with Pluto, Lilo and Stitch).

I never get to see Mickey Mouse while at Disney. We go there every year and we always have dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern and I can never see that darn mouse! Are you guys sure he is at the lunch or dinner at the Garden Girll because if so - I will change my ADR at Coral Reef and have lunch there. They have every other character at the Liberty Tree Tavern character dinner but I have never seen Mickey. Thanks!

According to this list, Mickey is at lunch and dinner at Garden Grill, in farmer's attire. :teeth: I think we might have to give that a try!

By the way, how do you like LTT? I'm assuming if you go every year, you must like it! That's one of the places we didn't do last trip, but we are considering this time around.

We love the character dinner at the LTT. The character interaction is great. All of the characters come by at least two times to take pictures with you except - NO MICKEY! AGH! We like the food - I mean you can't go wrong with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese in my book. They also offer virginia ham and salad I believe. I know that some people have said it tastes like frozen food - which it probably is but we still like it. You should definately give it a try.

Oh! I don't know which is cuter - Mickey dressed in the Farmer suit, or with the Hawiian shirt!

We eat at Garden Grille each trip just to see Mickey without the chaos that ensues at Chef Mickey's (Garden Grille food is oodles better than Chef Mickey's IMO).

Garden Grill! Nice set up and not as loud as Chef Mickey's.

If you are looking to do a character dining with Mickey and you want breakfast, Donald's Breakfastosaurus is the best! It has the classic characters and Mickey appears most of the time. It also has a great atmosphere especially with the cast members. There is a lot of guest interaction. Mickey also does a character breakfast at Ohaha featuring Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. I haven't been to that one, but I hear it's pretty good. If you don't want breakfast and prefer a lunch or dinner, Mickey is at the Garden Grill. That is a very good restaurant also with great atmosphere and the charcaters tend to be Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

Our favorite is breakfast at Ohanna. It's Mickey, Pluto, Stitch and sometimes Leilo. Last Dec we had long interaction with each character and Mickey even came back to pose for a Christmas card photo. We find it much more relaxing than the character buffets... no one is gone when a character arrives, it's more quiet and the pace is a bit slower. This is always our first stop!

We have an ADR for our upcoming trip but thought it was only Lilo & Stitch. I'm so happy that Mickey will be there too - I also love him in the Hawiian shirt! :goodvibes

Our favorite was 'Ohana with Stitch. He was so fun, and Pluto was too!

I also recommend Garden Grille. It is very pleasant change from the other character meals, and my kids always ate very well there. That's the restaurant where my oldest decided he liked salad because the dressing was so yummy, and after taking the Land Tour before dinner he was very impressed with the hydroponic lettuce :thumbsup2

If you like the liberty tree, then you will like the garden grill----and the place rotates so you can see the scenes from the ride in the land. Mickey and all his friends were at our table numerous times---great for pictures!!!!and our kids got to decorate their own cupcake for dessert----disney style of course...the adult tray for dessert was excellent as well------Have a great time!
