If you check out allears.net, they have all the menus for both DL and DCA..

If you like character dining and princesses, there's Ariel's Grotto which has breakfast, lunch, and dinner..

I really like Pacific Warf Cafe. They have soups and salads.. Maybe sandwhiches too.. The chicken salad there is to die for..

That's all I can think of right now... :headache:

If you want nice and sit-down--the Vineyard Room is probably your best bet. (also priciest)

If you want something more casual, but still table-service, the Wine Country Trattoria.

Pacific Wharf is great counter service. (Bread bowls--need I say more?)

For extreme casual--there's Corn Dog Castle . . . best corn dogs EVER.

Our favorite place in DCA is Wine Country Trattoria!

our is not fancy , but we love taste pilot's grill, it is in a plane hanger type building the burgers are good and the menu is a touch screen kiosk and they have a fix-ins bar for your food.

I see you're from Florida so you are probably expecting alot of choices for dining at Disney Parks since WDW is that way. DCA does not give you many options, especially for table service. Our favorite is Wine Country Trattoria. Ariel's Grotto has the Princesses and the setting is pretty. If you go at diner sit outside for a great view. But the food is- less than stellar. We still always put it on our list as DD loves any character meal- AND THERE ARE PRINCESSES!! As a former poster said, look at Allears.com at the choices and menus. Good Luck!

YES thank you i will defininitley go to "allears".
I am from Florida, and although i am very used to the LARGENESS of WDW, I look forward to the differences too.:goodvibes

I just want to make the most of our time and see the best of the best.

Who knows we may never make it clear across to Cali with our kids again??

We try to go soemwhere new every year.

Thanks everyone!

Does the Wine Country Trattoria have a children's menu? It sounds like the perfect place to have lunch when we are there on Mother's Day (if we can still get priority seating) but we'll have my two 7-year-olds with us. I've seen the menu on allears.net but didn't see any real "kid" options.

Anyone know? Thanks.

*whoops! Never mind, I found it!*

Yes it does. My DD8 likes their grilled cheese sandwich (more like a pressed one, than grilled-has grill marks on it.) She likes her grilled cheese with ketchup so we always have to ask for it and it comes in small, individual glass jars-so cute! There is definitely a separate kid's menu. I too don't see it on allears. I know that the sandwich comes with grapes. There is also spaghetti.

If the weather is good, ask to be seated outside-it's the best. I was going to post that WCT was my choice for sit-down at DCA. I love the Pizzeta Salad* - Romaine hearts, Roma tomatoes, smoked bacon, crumbled blue cheese, Kalamata olives with a creamy Italian dressing served on a warm pizzeta crust $9.99-it's so good, and so big. My DM or DSis and I split it and it's still hard to finish. The coolness of the salad along with the warmness of the bread it's served on is just right! Right now it's my favorite meal at DLR.

The pizza dog looks yummy but I can't get DD to order it! :rotfl2:

ADDED AGAIN-looks like you found it at the same time I did!

For a quick snack we love Mission Tortilla Factory-make sure you stop off (at least once) to grab a free, hot, corn or flour, tortilla. If it's your birthday (wear the button) you'll get a dozen!

The Trattoria's Pizzeta Salad sounds great! We'll have to give it a try on our upcoming trip.

For theming the best places in DCA are Ariel's and Taste Pilots Grill. Ariel's isn't really themed though, it's just a good place to meet Princesses. Taste Pilots is CS so it's not fancy. I haven't tried the Trattaria yet but that might be the thing for you.

In CA, I recommend the Trattoria also. Great salads!

Also, I would recommend Storytellers right outside of CA inside the Grand Californian. It has a character breakfast, order off the menu for lunch, or for dinner you can order off the menu or have the buffet. It's definitely a neat looking place. My family enjoys it every time we go there.

We did Ariel's Grotto for lunch. It had a good selection for a reasonable price. There were plenty of princesses that visit each table. The setting on the water is pretty and relaxing. :)

Well, you convinced me! I phoned today and made priority seating arrangements for WCT for Mother's Day, at 1 pm, on the patio. My Mom when I told her was thrilled. We'll be sure to get the girls a souvenier before we go for lunch, to keep them occupied while we relax and have a glass of wine and that lovely salad you recommended (sounds amazing!). I wonder.....the HSM2 parade runs at 1 also...will we be able to watch from the patio? Might be a hoot, as the girls are 7 and will love it I think.

I'm soooo excited!

You might see the HSM parade go by, but they actually stop in Sunshine Plaza and down near the Golden Dreams theater and do a presentation/show which you would not be able to see.

But you will be able to hear it - and only it!!! :rotfl2: Of course, if your PS is for 1, you'll get the tail end when you are eating. Want to say the whole thing only lasts 30 min.

theres waterside seating at the princes lunch? i didnt know this. the last time i went we were inside and had the 2ed table visited it was cool my son felt like royality and the princess were so nice

Yes, you can sit outside on the "patio", both upstairs and down. It's really nice on a beautiful day.
